About your second paragraph, I feel sorry for you, honestly. If mediocrity is being the leader on footy games for... 10 years? then I want to be mediocre. Konami has delivered lots of good games. Did PES 2008 suck? Yes, big time. That not means PES2009 will suck. If you don't see anything positive in the game, fine, don't buy the game. The people which genuinely enjoy it will be happy. Just don't feel you are better than them because, since the game has flaws, you moan all day about it and you can't see anything good in the game.

I honestly dont understand why some people bothers to be here just to moan about the game. I dont get it. One thing is being critic, very different from moan about the same again and again and again. That is the reason, I guess, every single year before the release of a new WE/PES game these threads end full of spam and useless comments about the same over and over. It is a shame, honestly. Even with WENB as an option, EW have been the best source of news about WE/PES from a long time ago, with members like ThomasGoal giving us news.

I think PES's gameplay will be fantastic this year, a proper game wgiving decent value for money given the edit mode.

FIFA online has consistantly out performed PES oline, thats just a fact.

They are both great games in their own right.

Anyone knows wich ball models will be in the game? For me this is more important than boots... Is there any news regarding the Edit of balls? I know this haven't been possible in the previous versions but I'm hopping it will be possible in the PS3 version.

Actually, the ftp does work, but it's slow as hell, giving connection timeouts all the time when trying to download.

I don't know if the file is indeed the demo, but it sure works. I can browse through the folders.

Wow, that actually worked better.

I was using an ftp client, but it was always timing out.

1%... 3h to go.

When I leave work later, I'll have the demo, hopefully.

Seems strange only one website would have it and a day early too. Just looked on the frontpage of gamestar and couldn't find anything?

Would love for someone to clear this up

They shouldn't have posted it until midnight, but they would have uploaded it to their servers in preperation for making public. Someone has obviously leaked it

I am sure KONAMI already distributed the DEMO today to some mirror sites and somebody in a german PES forum found it.

What is stranger is that the last modified date is yesterday, at 3PM.

Nonetheless, I don't find it that strange whatsoever. Probably more sites have it, but it is not to be release until tomorrow. The sites must have the file in their servers already, they don't need to do it only when the time for release comes.

Now, I'd appreciate it if you all would stop consuming my bandwidth :lol: Kidding.

quarantedeux: when you finish the download, and boot up the demo, would you be kind enough to let us know if you can play a game using the Become a Legend camera, or in Become a Legend mode? I'd appreciate it.
