Just a quick note: Tomorrow will be the last date for Konami to put the demo out before fifa hits sale stores next thursday.

Question about PS Store, do they tell you what you can expect the next update, en when do they do that?

Kinda weird really if they don't release the demo before FIFA 09 is released. If they did release it then people that liked FIFA might even like PES more and hold out a couple of weeks and buy PES instead. Because most people probably only buys one football game.

Usually they don't announce it. When the morning comes, we'll see what's on XBL, and assume that if there's no PES2009, then PSN won't have it either.

And his team mate is Dellas, who no longer plays for AEK but for Anorthosis! How lame is that? Seriously don't they have someone to do the basic stuff like getting the latest rosters?

LOL@the guy whining about Chelsea signing a bloke who didn't even have a contract, having been released from Hertha Berlin in June.

The screenshot thing is a bit of a pointless bash at PR/Marketing people, but yeah, it is a bit crappy to release the same stills, at least when *I* have to go into the replay mode to get mine, dammit !

That's just the press release again.

However, I will take this opportunity to say some of those FIFA models look pants, (especially Rooney, who looks like a murderer rather than just a chimp), and some of the boots aren't exactly accurate either. But at least they don't seem to look like clogs in those screenshots, which they do in the [thing I'm not allowed to discuss on this thread]. ;)

their old but their screens proving FIFA is the same as KONAMI on this matter.

No they´re not. Konami just has Champions League license wich refer to the cup itself, adboards, competition name and logos, maybe music. Team licences belong to FIFpro, and as we know konami can only have 2 english clubs licensed, and they´re Liverpool and Man Utd this year.

There not Jonney. Neither EA or PES should be doing it but they are difference is in the FIFA pics there arent players running away from the ball :|

What's that got to do with anything ? They're still FIFA09 shots (or at least appear to be, if they're not and they're fake you should clarify your point) and they prove that not only Konami does the still-switching with their screenshots, which was the crux of the (fairly pointless) argument.

they are in the CL @@ ??

so why did konami add this new mode for ? for the addboreds and offical theme only ?! that will get me crazy that was my only hope CL mode so i can enjoy my Arsenal ! plz can somebody confirm that !!

It´s not konami fault! It´s all business. EA Sports has a deal with EPL and it must be respected.

Anyway nothing new it always has been that way so I don´t know why you complain.

FIFA = licenses

PES = gameplay (we hope, cuz 2008 was bad)
