how the hell can u know that:CW:
lots of vids are taped and the frames are fucked up,so u can never know how fast or slow the game is from looking by the vids.

I´m spanish but with limited english:

Most important:

The photo where appears 32 champions league teams includes dinamo zagreb, standard lieja... all teams aren´t in the game, it´s a champions format but you can put others teams. I think...

Graphics 90 - smooth animations, some cameras failures (?)

Easy editor. You can do any club in the world (overstate)

8 players online.

8 cameras, 3 high types. nothing about camera angle.

Mode team Vision AI - I wait this mode wasn´t like Pes 2008.

This magazine isn´t very credible. Pes 2008 was a good game for them.

Well I must admit that the reviews coming in so far have been a lot more positive than I would have expected. Excellent news for everyone involved, I guess.

In this number they say pes 2008 was a bad game, but a year ago, i bought the game cause this magazine put a high score in many aspects.

If I were you I wouldn't get my expectations too high..it looks like PES2008 all over again, with the Champions League mode & Become a Legend bonus... these look fine, but won't be enough to save a game similar to this year's version.

I still see the same crappy gameplay on the videos, same crappy replays and so on. I'm talking about the basics. Not untucked shirts or boots limitation.

I want to see more PS3 vids. That caniggia video between Man U vs Real Madrid left me drooling. It really showed some great things and lots of potential. Love the way the AI was agressively attacking and exploiting the holes with precision surgical through balls. Also, loved the chip through ball by the sidelines. Animations really do look more fluid and the ball looks noticeably heavier and a lot more realistic as it moves.

Can't wait to get my hands on this puppy. I just hope the Demo is a representation of the final version.

I've seen that too..It doesn't give me good feelings about it..the game plays too fast, once again, making almost no build up play in the midfield... And those passing animations REALLY annoy me, because they're so unrealistic..and since 70% of this game is passing.. The passing animations are horrible, and the passes themselfs feel wrong..The ball goes too fast, directly..it seems so scripted (my english doesn't let me explain better than this). It just looks awful.
I also don't like the running animations, but I could live with that..
I think most people lowered their standarts..if you watch a PES6 match..it looks like football. It may have some problems. It does. But the build up play, the crosses, the passes.. it feels right.
I'm not even talking about that rebounding goal by Evra, with his right foot, when he was on the left hand side and plays with the left foot... I'm talking about the basics.
Anyway, the CPU AI seems quite good, they try to find out places and it seems a challenge, something that PES6 lacks sometimes.

I'm not convinced at all...I was hoping for much better, since they aknowledge they made a bad version last year..
Replays are so crappy (why did they change it?), now you can barely see the stadiums, so it feels like you're always playing on the same stadium, you can only see them on goal kicks. The net physics are beyond words when comparing to what they used to be..it felt good when you scored on other PES, now, even the nets don't react well..they barely move most of the times...

Let's just hope those 15% are the best 15% ever...

I would have to disagree with this part of your statement as I feel this looks much imroved on previous versions.

I played PES5 last night and that feels like the nets are made from steel wire as there is almost no movement at all, this being a game regarded by many as the best in the series, not that this mattters as its all about the gameplay...but as many others say...it;s the finer details that gave us joy with each new instalment...

IMO I think they should just go back to PES5, enhance the graphics to next gen, update teams, add CL mode and Robert would then be your Uncle...This I feel is what PES6 should've been, hence the reason they have fucked up so much in recent years...Its a known fact that if its not broke don't fix it, and for the lack of Seabass not following these rules, It is WE as a PES fan since the beginning who suffer while Konami line their pockets with our blood money paid out in recent years.

I know it doesn't look too bright on PES 09 but it is an improvement, and at this stage thats a major plus, however I'll reserve my final judgement until the game is released. :SMOKIN:

PES2009 looks amazing if you ask me. I really cant see what people are getting so riled up about. Dont like PES? Dont buy it again. You cant please all the people all of the time is a well known saying. Its good business sense to leave room for improvement but if you dislike that then forget about PES and buy another title.

Some player are good like Totti, Kaka, ecc. other are really bad like De rossi Panucci Vucinic and other.

And why some pictures are so dark??? i already hate FIFA night matches that looks lighted with lanterns and you can't see the corners of the field, please pes don't take the path of the dark side.

Other than that the graphic looks sweet, depth of field blurring helps a lot.
Now they just need to change the black glossy buttons with player names in the new white interface(why they changed all the menus and not that?)

This is the Italian Cup (Coppa Italia) badge, who wins the cup last year have it on the shirt.

there is no "Serie A" logo on players shirts in real life.

I think they are players standing in the shade of the stadium as they are the same shots of some players in the sun.

The night time lighting is far better on Pes than it is on Fifa IMO and i dont think that has changed.
