PC Gaming

You can go for this if you like it. If you got the PC dont forget to tune the curve for the fans and the pump for the liquid freezerIII in the bios. Otherwise the pump could be a little bit noisy. If you need help for this you can ask in this thread. I have some experience with this cooler. Its easy and its 100% worth it.
Thank you for your help, appreciate it very much, I will come back to this.

Just another last question. We picked 32 GB RAM. I'm reading that this is more than enough but a colleague of me said he would rather go for 64 GB of RAM.

Well, his job is Rendering and he has 128 GB RAM and 4 graphics cards in his rig, so maybe he is just over-the-top.

What's your thoughts about this, is it worth to take 64 GB or pointless for a normal PC User like me?

There is zero benefit for 64GB of RAM over 32GB unless you render.
Or you want to open 4 chrome tabs at once.

Wanted to put the PC together now and order it and now the Ryzen CPU is not even on their Website anymore :(

Fuck my life, I waited one day too long.

The 9800X3D is impossible to get hold of at the moment.
It is the absolute best processor on the market.
You could have ordered it yesterday with a possible release in end of December and now it's not even listed anymore. I should have ordered it yesterday ffs.

So I wonder how long it could take until you can order it again. I need a new PC but I don't want to take stuff I regret in the future.

In the UK Overclockers they are stating the following on their website:

Stock Update:
We cannot guarantee orders placed after 12:00 28th November before Christmas.
Orders placed now are expected mid-late January 2025.

Hence why they are now being scalped on eBay for £100 - £300 more than RRP.
Which I don't get - As although they are incredible for games - I wouldn't buy one over a 9950X.

So I possibly have to bite a bullet and wait/hope for the best. I badly need a new PC but I trust your words, that I have get the 9800X3D.

You won't believe how hard it is to do stuff for EvoWeb Patch while you can only use one monitor and always expect a crash before you saved.

So looks like that could be it. Don't hate me but I possibly take the pricey Windows aswell.

Hi Cesc, I hope I can help you a little bit.

I found a build with a 7800x3d and a samsung 4 tb ssd. Because these both I couldn't choose in it.

It really seems that the 9800x3d is out of stock quick after release.

https://krotus-computer.de/pc-konfi.../gaming-pc-konfigurator-amd-am5?configurator=
Krotus Computer is a german company and partner from PCGH if you know it.
But I have no expierence with them.

In the past I let build 3 of my PC's from https://www.one.de/ and had exactly 3 times trouble with them. But can't say if it is a general problem from one . de.
And I trying to make the same specs for a PC build. But on this site there was also some not available hardware. For example no 32GB ram from corsair or only one cpu-fan watercooler or not the same case. I don't know why. And I was quickly at more than 3.2 k €

I think, wait for the next possible date at the shop mindfactory (thanks to @Bogo36 for the tip) is the best way.

PS: I do every time the same way. I can't and will not build a PC by my self. Two left hands and to clumsy. :D

Yes, just wait @Cesc Fabregas. Dont buy some overpriced prebuild. Check for the 9800X3D on Mindfactory everyday.

Nah sry, but i cant accept this nowadays. Bulding a PC is so god damn easy these days 😅

Yeah right. As someone here said… it’s like Lego.

Come on Carles. It’s like 7 pieces only.
Take the motherboard Motherboard, slap a GPU, CPU, RAM, NVME and cooler on it. Put that all into a case.
Some wires to attach… and that’s basically it.

lots of step by step videos out there too.

Hell, video call me and we’ll do it together. Takes 30-60 min max.

For me personally, I'm just happy to pay something extra that good experts are doing it for me. I'm not buying a PC very often, so when it happens like now, I don't want to do it myself. It's like when I want a good meal, I can cook it myself but sometimes I will let the good chef at the Restaurant do it.

Ryzen 9800X3D is available for Pre-Order again but now you can't pre-order the Arctic Liquid Freezer AIO anymore :(
Be more concerned about getting the 9800X3D.
AIO coolers are very similar, a few degrees is normally the difference and better thermal paste easily makes that up.

The Arctic Liquid Freezer when looking online is incredibly hit and miss, some people swear by it - Some say it performs shite.
Looking at pictures of it - It doesn't look well made so maybe that's why it is so cheap and hit and miss.

Not with this one.

I have it myself and it is the best Liquid cooler you can get after tuning the curves in the bios and its not made cheap. The cooler is one of the very few that has a 38 mm high radiator. I myself consider me as a silent freak in terms of PC Hardware and its perfect. I had myself a "be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4" and with the LF III i got 15°C - 20°C less temperature and a lower noise level.

@Cesc Fabregas You could also go for the 360 without RGB or for the 420 with RGB. If you choose the 420 with rgb you should write additionally in the notes that they should remove the 3 140mm fans at the front and put the Liquid Freezer III 420 in the front. Of the 3 140 mm case fans, please place 2 at the top and one at the back.
This way you dont need the extra 120 mm Arctic fan.

Only going by what I read online and the graphs I have seen don't show that it is that much better than most other AIO's.
If the AIO is out of stock I wouldn't wait around for it - Getting a 9800X3D is more important than the cooler.

Thank you guys for the suggestions but I think I will wait anyway. I'm now all over this built and don't want to change anything just for time saving. I like the RGB AIO and watched several Videos of it, I want it like that.

I will wait a few days and check everyday, hopefully everything is ready to order soon.

If you order, dont forget to write: "Den einzelnen P12 Lüfter bitte hinten am Gehäuse montieren. Den Arctic Liquid Freezer III bitte mit dem beigelegten Splitter anschließen."

😉

Nerd tip: Use distill.io and monitor certain parts of the site. You can set free intervals and the app will notify you of any changes on a website's elements you chose. I've used it a million times on many different sites for similar occasions.

It sounds like nothing will ever be all available.

Do you not have alternatives?
Admittedly I would never change the case as you have to look at it everyday.

The processor is incredible and shouldn't really be changed unless the 9950X3D comes out before you order.

But can you not change the GFX card, PSU or AIO cooler?
As long as it is the same GPU, I would be happy to change manufacturer, the PSU as long as it is top tier/modular and at least Gold then that can be changed.
The AIO coolers are pretty much all identical give or take 1-2c and some look much better than others - The corsair ones especially with the custom LED screens:
https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/p/cpu...ink-h150i-lcd-liquid-cpu-cooler-cw-9061008-ww

The only thing I wouldn't change with the build is the CPU and Case the rest can be switched for different components of same quality.
