PC Gaming

Ohhhhh, that's why my PC is suddenly doing a couple of black flashes one after the other within a few minutes of being turned on! I was considering getting a new HDMI cable... What a weird thing to do, Nvidia.

Seems to be a common theme with Nvidia cards and the latest drivers.
Mine flashes all the time unless I set my 2nd monitor to be locked at 60Hz - Can't have both monitors running at 144hz.
As a mate was asking me about his freezes, using a 4060, what are the stable drivers you would recommend?!
I’m not into NV as much and send him a link to a Reddit discussion but I wouldn’t mind an option of yours, so I can forward that.
I advised him to look up discussions about stable drivers and to use DDU… but he’s not that tech savvy.

Rollback to a driver previous to the 5000 series launch.

These are from 5th December last year and the last ones I can find before the 5000 series release:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/237719/

Personally I have not updated the Nvidia drivers for a while and waiting for them to be properly fixed but if you aren't on the 5000 series then the drivers above are probably the best drivers.

Thanks for your response.
Let’s see if he is able to avoid freezes now.

Guys, do any of you use Nintendo Switch controllers to play PC games? My generic PC controller works fine but isn't the most comfortable, so I decided to try my Switch controller (using a software called Betterjoy), and it was working fine up until the latest Windows update (not detecting the Switch controller now). Wonder if any of you have a method you could share? Thanks in advance. :TU:
