so what about vieira? or have i missed something here?

Unfortunately, Inter seem to want him. Hopefully he goes to Man U, as he would be a complete waste of money for Inter.

Re: Official Transfers Only - Summer 2006

Offcial from few sources like Gazzetta Dello Sport :

the problem for boca at the moment is that basile will probably leave them to become our national team's manager.

pretty weird that boca won every tournament since basile's arrival at boca, yet most of the fans strongly dislike him and their managment sold a very important part of his squad (bilos, insua, pato). well, i just heard that if coco leaves there's a possibility of a third bianchi era as boca's manager... so not much to worry about for them.

still it's pretty weird that a team that won the last 2 local championships and the only international cup they participated gets into this weird rebuilding process.

I know man, it is wierd. I personally am one of the Boca fans who likes Basile AND Insua, and I don't get why no one else does. According to chairman Mauricio Macri, they're gonna do everything they can to accomodate Basile as NT coach and keep him at Boca, with the possibility of up to 5 backup coaches. They offered Maradona the job of backup but he said it's too busy an agenda. Next week more info on Basile's choice will be told.

About Bianchi, dude I fucking hope so.

And about selling the players...well it's Boca's way. We've always sold them once they get good, and in addition it's part of a plan for Boca to not go bankrupt! We are forced to sell two to three players a year to make money...

Vieira in Inter is bad news for PES :)
I already HATE Inter (used by a hard tackling, "100% hoping Adriano scores overrated goals" friend of mine) now they will have a decent DMF.

Re: Official Transfers Only - Summer 2006

Would be nice to see the next instalment without Juventus Lazio and Fiorentina with a seriously depleted AC Milan although Seabass's fetish with Inter will make them the best team again. Anyone notice how Recobas stats never drop just his consistancy[-(

Re: Official Transfers Only - Summer 2006

Seriously depleted? We've only lost Sheva whose 30 and has been slowly fading.... and we're yet to sign his replacement!

I'm ignoring the news until I've finished my current Italian league. I'm using Juventus. When it's finished, I'll do the transfers and start another league.;)
