seriously, why not. You know, he has won a CL(right?), italian league, and now a world cup. The man has NOTHING to prove to anyone. he is the best keeper in the world and showed that in the WC. Why not help out his club come back from a death sentence, I think its a challenge to a guy who has already overcome pretty much every challenge that has come at him in his life...

Haha, you're pretty spot on actually. Buffon agent even stated "He’s ready to play in Serie B. He’s never won the Serie B title and now he wants to try.”

He's only staying though, because his transfer to Milan fell through and he wants to stay in Italy.
