These were most of the big stars. The other ones are Del Piero(staying), Nedved(staying), Buffon(staying..), Camoranesi and Trezeguet. So this was already your so-called 'flurry' of transfers.

Hardly. Milan are masters at keeping their players at the club, besides they got away with a light punishement.

Lazio and Fiorentina only have a few players that would really set the 'transferworld' alight.

his leaving has been known to everyone here since last year. it was only a matter to which club. they also hired aldo bobadilla (paraguay's WC keeper) with a clause that he joins the club after his libertadores match against river (which his team, libertad, yesterday won 3-1 and advanced).

Thuram and Zambrotta arent official, neither are Cannavaro and Emerson. Canna and Emerson bids were accepted, but the players havent said ok yet. Thuram is likely to move, but Zambrotta hasnt been officialized yet or confirmed... its just rumors now.

Voxel, you're right about Pato wanting to go to Europe and rumors for a while but I'd been praying no! Anyway, I did actually forget about Aldo Bobadilla, so even though we won't have Pato we will have Bobadilla, oh well looks like Migliore and Medran are gonna have to wait more!

the problem for boca at the moment is that basile will probably leave them to become our national team's manager.

pretty weird that boca won every tournament since basile's arrival at boca, yet most of the fans strongly dislike him and their managment sold a very important part of his squad (bilos, insua, pato). well, i just heard that if coco leaves there's a possibility of a third bianchi era as boca's manager... so not much to worry about for them.

still it's pretty weird that a team that won the last 2 local championships and the only international cup they participated gets into this weird rebuilding process.
