Eto'o missed a pen that could bring Cameroon to the final of the African Cup. So what? Penalties are a lottery and the biggest stars miss as well.

Every pen is a lottery. Sometimes you miss, sometimes the keeper saves it and sometimes you score.

And a missed pen doesn't determine if a club is still interested in a player or not.

yep, he shot it awfully... still a decent player, not great but not as bad as that unlucky showing.

and that penalty shootout was very funny. look at the side cam replay from the 4th penaly by estudiantes @ 2:05. rofl!

I know a week or so ago he said it'd be a dream come true if he can play for Les Verts and they had shown some interest in the player, but I didn't know talks had even advanced to a serious stage let alone the capture done and dusted. 8)

Well, I don't have an specific link because I don't find these transfers in internet really; was confirmed for a french reporter of Reuters.

Shortly after I wrote that to you, the confirmation of transfer was even on home page of St. Etienne official website and everywhere! :mrgreen: :lol:
