Just steal a few hood cars , one in 5 usually have them , the convertable ones you know that are found around your girl friends house

Ifs its beside the 24 / 7 , Its a straight line from your crib i think ( the road coming into it ) take a left when you you come to a small ramp that connects 2 streets , can't be sure though

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Been playing this gem constantly over the weekend.

WHAT A GAME!

Love the way you can customise your character. Not really been completing missions, just been living out everyday life. Its quality. Im always going to the gym, scranning up and taking my gf out.

The problem with the ho is everytime i go around all she wants to do is eat. Suprised she doesnt get fat! And shes a dog,. Surely with my slick clothes, ripped body and high sex appeal CJ should pull a better lukin bird?! Should of let her burn....

One last thing, dunno if its been said before, but CJ is a spitting image of Thierry Henry! Well i think so anyway.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Its when you complete the first mission for officer tennapenny.

Whats funny is that you have to maintain the relationship. You get a percentage bar like you get when trying to lose fat or gain muscle. The more you take her out the more the bar fills up. Im only on 23% with her, i reckon when you fill it up she falls in love with you and CJ finally beds her ;)

Actually i need a hand in something for anyone whos got pretty far...

I recently got as messege saying that I have enuff respect to start my own 3 man gang. How do i recruit members?

switch off to all the "yo homey" crap.
You'll rather have ''shuddap ya mouth, capice ?''. ''Yo homey'' is what the game is about.

Like I said, play Vice City if your sick of it. It's about time the ''homiez'' get a turn on a GTA game  .

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

i am so fuckin addicted...playin gor 7 hours now...can't stop.it's 3am here...time for sleep?no...need more gta.:D

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

SPOILER WARNING

Guys, please be respectful to the other members by NOT posting spoilers regarding missions etc etc! Many members appreciate reading your impressions of San Andreas, however it is not fair for them to have the game potentially spoiled because you maybe stuck on a certain mission. I have no problem with these posts once the game is released on Friday; however, until then please keep specific's about missions out of all discussions.

That link isnt working mate.

loz - Cheers, links fixed.

Here are some snippets from the USA PS mag review, they game it 5/5.

As I start writing this review, I have played San Andreas for 35 hours and nine minutes, and I have completed only 49.43 percent of the entire game....My sworn enemy is the Ballas gang. I've taken over three territoriews and lost one, and 158 enemy gang members have died over the course of the turf war...I've spent $160,000 on property, $32,411 on gambling, $11,400 on weapons, $1,675 on clothes, $1,505 on tattoos, $1,300 on haircuts, and just $2 on food. I've jumped out of a plane twice, and I've dated two different women, with limited success."

"If you're expecting Vice City, only set in the 90's and with some RPG bits, you are wrong. If you believe they can't possibly push it as much as they have before, that it can't really be that good, you are wrong. San Andreas is shocking, not necessarily because of its typically contentious subject matter...but because of the sheer scale of the experience."

"All that remains is to tackle the question we posed at the beginning of this review: Is it really the best game ever made? Quite possibly, yes. Some of you may not like it. Some of you might be quite cynical about the hype surrounding the game. I'm sure some of you will think that I'm being sensational and overstatin its quality, simply because we have the exclusive and we're obliged to do so. This is not the case. Before I played it, I was thinking that perhaps this story would be more interesting if we were able to say, "Grand Theft Auto loses its cool, San Andreas is actually crap," but the truth is it's spectacular -- it sets the bar so high that it leaves a lot of games in the dust."

Things to do.....

BASE JUMPING
Learn to parachute at the flight school (it's like playing Pilotwings) and then grab a parachute pack and have some fun. Take a plane up over a city, land on top of a skyscraper, leap off the edge of it, and parachute down to the street.

IMPORT/EXPORT
Remember the car-smuggling business in Grand Theft Auto 2 on PS1? No? Go back and pick up a copy from the used bin in EB Games -- you'll probably find it for $5. You can relive the smuggling experience by purchasing a car dealership in San Fierro.

NOOKIE
Hooking up with the ladies is an important part of the game, and your sexiness will dictate how successful you are. The dates themselves are often very amusing, with romantically lit scenes of you wooing the ladies while cheesy music plays.

TRIATHLON
The game has running, swimming, and biking gameplay mechanics, so what better way to take advantage of them than to include a full-on triathlon for you to enter? You'll need to hit the gym and crank up those stamina stats if you want to win.

Base Jumping - OMFG

I know, I made a trip up to the top of mount chiliad where there is a parachute, a mountain bike, and a huge fuck-off ramp over a ledge. It was a sublime experience.
Pedal like a bitch, ramp off the edge, and jump off the bike in mid air while opening your parachute. Class.

Awesome - I can't wait to play this game on Friday!!! I have the day off aswell :D

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

AWW, anyone have any ideas if its gona be released early as it is now ilegally available? Seems as it is being released today in a lot of stores in the US!?!?!

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Unfortunately the first time I flew the dodo I got quite high up and for some reason thought the look behind button was triangle. Cue CJ falling quite a long way and saying "aaaaaw man! motherfucker!" just before he splattered across the ground.

Where's the flight school?

Loz the official US date is tomorrow, that's why it's out some places today as often they sneak them out early to get sales.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Yeah i know that mate, but they are still bending the rules by releasing it a day early . . .Just trying to keep my spirits up that i could be playing it sooner than expected ;)

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

I found the driving school, but not the flight school. Does anyone know where the betting place is??

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

I'm loving the game, lives up to the hype. The only downside for me it's the soundtrack. Sure it's loaded with good music but I think the previous one was much better, mainly because of the variety. It's not realistic to expect 90% of the radio stations to play only "brother" music in a state. More variety should exist, just like in Vice City.

Also hanged up in the robbery scheme.. I just dunno were to find the robbery trucks, I've seen some similar at the docks but they don't seem to be it I guess. Liked the detail of playing Arcade in the 24-7, nice detail.

The stranger vehicle I drove so far was the street sweeper.

no, they respawn!

Yeah I gathered that but I meant, can you use the same parachute pack twice in a row? Or does the pack you are using dissapear from your back once you have landed?

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format
