Next Gen Consoles

Early PS4's dying no image just sound. all over the internet and YouTube
best part is because there not technically released no Sonys customer support telling ppl to call back Friday

Kotaku reported receiving a broken PS4 that had a defective HDMI out port. Hopefully the issue isn't widespread and consumers won't be out of luck when it comes to getting replacements.

Being an early adopter can suck.

Just this second got an Email from Amazon:

There are currently 5000 PS4's "out there" and 6 have had issues. 0.1% so not a big number. I don't believe there are differences between review models and "actual" models.

The real test will be once its actually launched to see if more issues come up. Though as with all new technology there will be reliability issues. We had it with Xbox 360s and PS3s.

Unrelated, but that is probably the nicest website I've ever seen. Anyone know what tech is behind it? Superb on PC and tablet, clean, attractive. Just gorgeous.

Related: If these systems are struggling with 1080p/720p - how the hell are they going to meet the 4k standard that is starting to pop up? Aren't they supposedly going to?

Was thinking essentially the same thing. Reminds me of the layout of gaming magazine I use to read occasionally, although i can't recall the name of it.

It's all cleanly and cleverly html+css+javascript. They use SVG for animations, etc... Pretty much a great job of designing and implementing. I'm into this stuff right now and thought the same when I read the article: what a nice and elegant job they've done there!

PS: The programming skills behind it are actually quite easy, though they do it very elegant and clean. It's the design what makes it excel, though.

Do you guys have a huge backlog of 360/ps3 games or are you really ready for "New Current Gen" ?
I may have 10 games that I still want to complete. I am not ready!!!
