In the first movie, he breaks through with English Premier League club Newcastle. In the second, a couple of years later, he gets transferred to Euro champs Real Madrid in Spain. Astaghfurilla!

btw fred, "goal" has been canned me thinks due to "artistic differences" last time I heard. They filmed some scenes during Newcastle's european matches..... Well, at least theres Escape to Victory to soften the blow :eh:

Anyone seen Hellboy yet? hasn't come out in the UK yet but the trailers look okay - he looks a bit too much like Ted Danson though with all that make up :eh:

Hellboy = a load of shite to me.

Good movie is Coffee and Ciggarettes. Its a bunch of conversations between people who smoke and drink coffee.
People like the white stripes, roberto benigni, RZA and GZA, Bill Murray, Steve Coogan and many more are in it. its quite funny too.

Has anyone seen The Life of David gale?

Best film i have seen for ages and the ending is brilliant

Got Infernal Affairs thru the post this morning, will try and squeeze it in sometime this week.

Watched I Robot the other day and I think its Will Smiths best movie ever!!

Just watched Bourne Supremacy

Thoroughly enjoyed it, better than the first imo

Also watched the Village and thought it was great, the ending was kick ass imo

Saw I, Robot a couple of days ago and thought it was brilliant. Top performance by Will Smith and that US Robotics woman... what's her name?

Anyway top film.. will be getting it on DVD

I was expecting a lot more from The Village to be honest, a bit lame, had the potential to be a lot scarier and I have no idea why Adrien Brody and Brendan Gleeson took on those roles, a waste of talent in my opinion.

i got an excellent martial arts film a while ago

Ong-Bak, Muay Thai......the stunts and fighting are fantastic and it dosent look like any wire work or tomfoolery involved.....

i think what sets it apart is the fact that the main guy does Muay Thai and not fancy, flip out and spin around kung-fu....the fights are just brutal, but at the same time stylish as hell....flying elbows and jumping knee attacks all over the place, definately one of the best martial arts films i have ever seen, the guys more special moves in it than Virtua Fighter 4 and they all look authentic without any tricks involved...if u like kicky ass films then get this asap provided you can hack it being subtitles only.

Watched lots of quality movies lately, the ones under my belt for this month are,The Village,Fahrenheit 9/11,Collateral and I,Robot.ALL of them are brilliant especially The Village although I found some loopholes in the storyline.Fahrenheit 9/11 made me hate George W.Bush even more and I think he looks like a crossed eyed monkey in some scene shots.Collateral was a wyykiiddd movie,Tom Cruise kicks ass as a bad guy this time round, superb 9/10 flick.I,Robot starts off slow IMO,but has a good ending, somehow reminds me of A.I. though, uperb display by one of my favourite actors,Will Smith.Next on my agenda is ALIENS VS PREDATOR!!!!!! I'll be catchin its premiere tomorrow night!!

Watched Alien v Pred and Collateral in the last few days

Alien v Pred was better than i expected tbh, a pretty shitty cast but some good performances by one or two.
some of the fights between the aliens and predators were pulled off better than i expected too

Collateral i enjoyed very much, Cruise as the bad guy was so weird to watch but was great!
Foxx was good and suprised me at how good an actor he was

Anybody seen Dodgeball?

I thort it was well funny.
Ben Stiller crackes me up.

Watched a Korean gem today......"OldBoy", very entertaining if not a little fooked up!!! :D

A guy is locked up in an apartment block for 15 years for no apparent reason and is then released to seek revenge..........

Worth a viewing!! 8)

The one with the dude and his kid in that wooden pram thing? hell yeah. Quality movie, tense, good dialogue, some nifty moves, lots of blood and also pure comedy, cant recommend it highly enough.

Yep seen that as well, a Stiller classic me thinks . . .

"F and A, F A...N...D A!"

Just saw "Garden State"... great movie, absolutely great. Might be tough to find in EU for a bit though as it was a smallish independent film. Kind of similar to Good Will Hunting in the working-shit-out-get-on-with-your-life kinda way.

Nothing to do with being a frikkin' genius though with a smart ass friend.

Just got back from seeing the Chronicles of Riddick. I expected it to be crap but found it rather good. I haven't seen Pitch Black either. But yeah, I expected to hate it but thought it was a decent film.

I saw that as well today, thought it started off really well, but the last half hour just seemed to drag.

Also watched Welcome to the Jungle with the Rock and stiffler from American Pie, thought it was excellent, good dialogue (at times) very funny, some great action/fighting scenes and it also had Christopher Walken, what more could you want?

Saw a couple of films yesterday, first was a true classic, The Neverending Story, hasnt aged at all, well, maybe a little bit ;)

And 'Welcome to Collingwood'

Anyone else seen it, i really liked it, good plot, very funny and some quality acting 8) :D

Saw some movies too.

Just watched on Sky 'Changing Lanes', thought it was very good. Also saw recently 'I, Robot' at the pics, thought it was good and Will Smith was funny in it. The Village too, was okay.
