UFC 113

Paul Daley, what a twonk. Can understand why he did it though, Koscheck is such a fucking cock. TUF next year is going to piss me off so much . Daley wasn't doing too badly on the ground, it's just that he couldn't stop being taken down. Koscheck didn't actually do much damage once he was down though.

I was really excited for Kimbo v Mittrione, but man, Kimbo gassed himself bigtime after about 4 minutes :((. Shocking stuff. Mittrione really impressed me to be fair to him. Be interesting to see who he fights next and how he get's on.

Rampage would just get hammered again because Rua does everything he does better and Evans aint that good either, he hasn't really fought anyone except Machida who KO'ed him (people say he has speed but this was Liddel he showed it off against)

Anderson Silva and Machida are the only decent LHW fighters the rest i think he would deal with pretty easily (Rampage, Evens, Griffin, Nogueria, T Silva) except maybe Bones Jones but hes well off a title shot

IMO no-one standing will trouble him. Therefore someone like Evans, Couture, Jones, Bader, and certainly King Mo would be a challenge if they wanted to wrestle

Shoguns the best though, no question, I was delighted he won, and though he'd do it early too.

Congo is now injured and Roy Nelson will fight Junior Dos Santos at UFC 117

Now Nelson will be tested to the max, this is where you will see his BJJ because he would never stand with Cigano

That card is looking good as well but its ages away

Chael Sonnen vs. Anderson Silva
Jon Fitch vs. Thiago Alves
Thiago Silva vs. Tim Boetsch
Matt Hughes vs. Ricardo Almeida
Clay Guida vs. Rafael dos Anjos
Dennis Hallman vs. Ben Saunders

Pro wrestling vs. BJJ, Part 6: Sakuraba to face Ralek Gracie at Dream 14

The Gracie Hunter hopes to add another member of the clan to his list of victims.

Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Ralek Gracie at a catch weight of 194 pounds has been officially added to the card for the Dream 14 show on May 29 in Saitama, Japan. It would be the renewal of the rivalry between the Gracies and Sakuraba, who earned the nickname "The Gracie Hunter" by beating four members of Brazilian jiu-jitsu's founding family.

The 24-year-old Ralek Gracie is a relative newcomer to mixed martial arts, with a 2-0 record as a professional fighter in K-1 Hero's and Dream.

At the age of 40, Sakuraba (26-11-1, 2 no contests) occupies the other end of the career spectrum. Several years ago, he became a hero in Japanese MMA by defeating two of Ralek's uncles, Royce and Royler, as well as their cousins Renzo and Ryan, in a series of fights billed as a clash of styles between pro wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Sakuraba came out on the short end of a decision in a 2007 rematch with Royce Gracie, although the result was later changed to a no-contest after Gracie tested positive for steroids.

Funny video

I have to say with all this 205 talk I'd like to say there is a lot of "aging" talent there, plus a few who still have something to prove. But one guy I think is consistently overlooked is Little Nog. His boxing is legit and his ground game is top class. He could lose or beat anyone. Tired of this, this guy is the best talk. Rua has the belt. As far as who is "the best" these fights often come down to match ups, and Rua was a bad matchup for Machida. Doesn't mean now Machida isn't a pound-for-pound top 5 or anything like that. Just that Rua is better in that match up and looks tough for anyone...but not unbeatable.

Look at how confident everyone was that BJ was going to kill Edgar. But didn't Edgar lose to Grey Maynard? And Gray is undefeated. So is Gray the pound-for-pound best, eventhough he barely got splits over Nate Diaz and Roger Huerta? See how dumb this can get?

Rua is awesome! Let's leave it at that and stop devalueing guys who would be awesome to watch still even if they aren't in their prime. I'd hate to see a warrior like Vanderlei or Nog get cut just because they aren't getting the "Wins". I'd rather see them fight a million times more than I'd want to see Gray Maynard fight ;)

You would rather see Wanderlei and Nog get knocked out?

If you are asking if I'd rather see Vanderlei vs Anderson Silva or Alan Belcher vs Anderson Silva...yes, I'd rather see Vanderlei get potentially knocked out. I'd still probably rather see Nog than most. Not headlining, but as a 3rd fight hell yes!

The first Primetime was good, a bit of trash-talking, but found the second a bit boring. Hoping the third is them throwing insults at each other :)

Dunno if I'll ever go to a UFC event. I imagine it to be a similar experience to going to a boxing match. Went to see Calzaghe once but was so far back that it didn't seem worth it.

I know someone who's been to a UFC event and they said that their view was distorted by the cage as well as the camera men around the cage!

The view was good when i went plus they have massive screens all over the place so you can watch them if they go to the ground ect

More fool you. UFC live is awesome

Really can't wait :) Been looking forward to Rashad v Rampage for AGES! Primetime part 3 was good as well.
