On TUF Season 10... Did you guys know that Rashad and Rampage aren't actually going to fight now?

I was watching the UFC round up show the other day and apparently Rampage has pulled out of UFC 108 as he's concentrating on his role in the upcoming A-Team movie. Seriously, all this tension and build up in the series with them both looking like they are going to come to blows any minute and Rampage pulls out for a role as B.A. Baracus the first opportunity he gets. Weak.

Do we get a chance to watch the prelim fights on TV/online at all?

I'd be interested in see Osipczak and Winner's fights at UFC 105.

Do these team challenges stop after TUF S01? I prefer the newer method where the coaches are picking the fights.

The teams challenges stop but and they have coach challenges instead where they play against each other to win money

There have been things like Pool, Bowling, Penalty shootouts, Tennis, Basketball and stuff

I remember in TUF 09 they had a tennis coach challenge, that was pretty fun. The team challenges are a bit rubbish though.

TUF 01

The Koscheck v Sanchez fight was pretty good, as expected really :) Really can't stand Koscheck, he's just a prick really. Leben has gone up in my estimation though since he came back more mature and focused.

TUF S01 Finale = :APPLAUD:

FUCKING HELL! Easily the best UFC fight I've watched in the short time I've been watching (since UFC 97 I think?), now THAT was epic! Just wow, absoloutely brilliant!

It's not actually a spoiler

I'll un-spoiler it :)

I'm amazed by what I just watched.

was that the forrest v bonner?

as this fight is what helped push UFC to where it is

it was broadcasted live on spike tv, a free cable channel, and apparently word got about that there was this amazing fight on, for free

millions ended up tuning in...

Yep, that was the one. And it was definately amazing, a great fight to watch if you've not seen UFC before, or even if you have!

Have you 2 never seen that fight before?

If not ill think or more classics you might not have seen

Nope, like I say I think I only started watching UFC from 97 onwards, maybe a little earlier.

It's really good watching TUF seasons as you get to know the fighters more and it makes it more interesting watching UFC now as I'm beginning to favour some fighters and dislike others who came from TUF and are still fighting now.

christ theres loads you've missed. 97 was what jardine and rampage?

All of Pride, UFC, man

Watch the following

Rampage vs Wanderlei 1 and 2 (PRIDE)
Crocop vs Wanderlei (PRIDE)
Wanderlei vs Sakuraba (1,2,3 in PRIDE)
Fedor vs Everyone (PRIDE/Affliction/RINGS)
Matt Hughes vs Carlos Newton (UFC)
Gonzaga vs Crocop (UFC)
Anderson Silva vs Rich Franklin 1 and 2 (UFC)
Randy Couture vs Tym Sylvia

Any BJ Penn fight
Any GSP fight
Any Fedor Fight
Any Crocop fight prior to UFC
Any Anderson Silva
Any Wanderlei Silva
Any Chuck Liddell
Any Nogueira

I downloaded a torrent of all of Prides events. Awesome. Get on it.

Cant believe you lot dont know about the Griffin and Bonnar wars, and the early TUF's.

Crikey I still remember watching ten years ago I had the first 6 UFC's on VHS!

There are loads more fighters and fights to watch, you can find them onlnie

Penn vs Hughes and Sanchez vs Guida were good as well

And most of Nick Diaz's fight are entertaining

Is it possible to watch Strikeforce at all? Seems it's nowhere near as big as UFC is.

its on Bravo tomorrow at 9pm on tape delay. Or Stream live on the suns website for a few quid.

Obviously Fedor's the star name, but check out Gegard Mousasi, who's fighting Sokodjou. Only 23 and a phenom. A matter of time IMO before he is in the UFC, and would be top 3 immediately. Future champ for sure.

You're right it isn't as big as the UFC but they have a network TV deal so Fedor is fighting on TV not PPV, (like Kimbo used to for them), and they also have an agreement with DREAM (Japans number 1 MMA company after PRIDE got sold) where they trade talent, and will cross-promote shows. They have good fighters (Dan Henderson is 90% sure about to sign for example) and are definately on the up. Competition is defo a good thing.
