I don't wanna sound that I'm hatin, but my experiences with the 360 is that you solve one problem, you get another.

Got my 1st 360 replaced due to constant crashing. New one doesn't crash, but random artifacts show up when I play PGR3 - this didn't happen with my previous 360.

I can't remember the last time I've had problems with a electronic device so regularly - I've been quite lucky I suppose in the past. It's a fantastic system, but the quality of the 360 is shoddy...very shoddy :(

Well I had a look around to see if there was some way to defragment the drive and found THIS - a cache-clearing code (that you don't need Oblivion to access).

So I thought I'd give it a go and hey presto, the FMVs of the demos no longer jerk and it even signs in a bit quicker. Trouble is that it now has to re-download all of the avatars for the people on my friends list, but I'm not too worried about that. So that's one problem fixed!
 
360 just causes more problems than its worth in my opinion.

Bought one recently & 3 red lights after 5 mins of playing
(seriously) i was pissed to say the least.

Then to make matters worse Gamestation did not believe me & were saying its my fault as i never kept it ventilated (which i did) any way they tested & 3 red lights.

I may wait until the Elites come out which the 65mm chip hopefully.

Formerly announced as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will now also be released on Xbox 360, with a cut-down Nintendo Wii version also a possibility, according to online reports.

The new game in the multi-million selling franchise will feature objective-based missions, while the Xbox 360 version will also include exclusive content and gameplay not offered in the PS3 edition.

Starring the infamous character Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, as with other titles in the series, is being created by renowned designer Hideo Kojima.

A Konami spokesman said: "The game is set after the events of MGS2 and players will reprise the role of top secret agent Solid Snake with appearances by characters throughout the MGS series. With the addition of online capability, MGS4 is a leading product and will signal the dawn of a new gaming era for the MGS series."

The firm also added: "MGS4 brings a totally new concept and situation, resulting in the toughest Metal Gear infiltration mission ever devised."

Industry insiders claim publisher Konami is also in talks with Nintendo to bring a cut-down MGS game to the Wii.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be released in 2008.

Yet none of the big sites have it. A swedish site made this story up & its escalated.

Until Konami say otherwise PS3 has the game.
 
Maybe a weird question, anyone noticed their electric bill go up since getting a 360? We just got our electric bill for May and it's around 3x what April was, only thing we can think of is getting the 360 last month and pretty much using it 12 hours a day.......
 
The 360 uses quite a bit of electricity but no more than a PC.

Using it that much could probably have some effect on your bill though.
 
Yeah, 12hrs a day is alot man......... No doubt your testing it to extreme to see if it breaks! The PS3 takes even more power to run, tis just a case of the newer machines having more processing power and thus need more fuel.

LOL I'm retired now, what else do I have to do? I wake up, send the wife out to work, play UEFA all day then she comes home and we watch TV and have dinner together :)

Funking hell, you must of made a mint, or your living off your wife's earnings,( ;) good lad). I did buy Operation Flashpoint on the XB and if you retired from working on that, you got paid far too much money, ;)

The latter, she's the skilled educated one so we based our move on her getting a job as she's more marketable :)

We didn't make much from Flashpoint on Xbox you'll be pleased to know ;)
 
Man I must of spent about 10 hours on Blue Dragon yesterday. Finally finished Disc 1.

It is a great game and looks beautiful..

Anyone got PDZ? Just got it off the net for £7. any good?

I played the demo, wasn't impressed, I also played the demo of hour of victory, with it not being available on Marketplace Asia (you bunch of cunts) I risked being banned from live by using a UK account to download it, can't believe I did that, the demo is complete and utter garbage.

I have an Asian 360. what the asian marketplace like? any TV or Sport shows? I created a japanese account but it doesnt really have much too offer.

I haven't explored anywhere other than demos and DLC, was really disappointed to find only 42 demos whereas under a UK account there's like 70 or something :(
 
Surely with Hour of Victory having so little coverage you should of known it was a steaming pile of..........
