true..i like that feature in my ps3..but theres a 3rd party accessory that allows you to do that on 360 now...just have to wait for m$ to release higher capacity hdd's so we can add our own cheaper ones..(sizes must be same as highest available from m$)...
 
Believe it or not even my 360 is collecting dust. Im fed up wit PES and FIFA. Not really too hyped up over UEFA Champions League when that comes out either. The only games im looking forward to are in my sig and one of them is on the PS3!!!

There's quite a few good games out this month (Virtua Tennis, NBA Street Homecourt, Def Jam: Icon) and the Halo BETA should start sometime in Spring too.

I'm worried about the Def Jam game though, from the demo it looks like EA have ruined the game. :(
 
Sooo... anyone got the wirless headset? Which one do you reccomend? 3rd Party or MS?
 
I have it, my nephew has it, we both think the official wireless headset is great... Nice and loud, and picks up your voice perfectly.

It looks like the Black 120GB/HDMI Xbox 360 is all but confirmed for release in late April and for a price of $480, which I'm guessing will be around £324.99 in the United Kingdom.

Shit, I can't afford it that soon. I'll just have to live without. Surely there's not that much difference between VGA and HDMI anyway (that you'd notice on a 26" LCD).
 
After posting the Agility Orb sound effect a couple of weeks ago, I was deluged with requests to post the ‘Achievement Unlocked’ sound that has been heard about 300 Billion times on Xbox 360 consoles around the world. For most gamers, this sound causes an increase in heart rate and a Pavlovian reaction that causes them to tap the Xbox 360 button to find out what achievement was unlocked and how many points were added to their Gamerscore.

I for one am livid! I buy this 360 and then they bring out an upgraded version! cheers M$ you money grabbers!

Atleast they didnt delay their console for ages, making you more and more impatient, and then say "oh, by the way, the Emotion Engine is removed" a month before you're about to buy it.

And they are actually giving people a choice of versions, as opposed to saying you get 2 flavours but only end up with the expensive one available;)
 
Engadget confirms the XBox 360 "Elite" package

* The Elite will be limited quantities only; that may be as much or as little as a couple hundred thousand.
* The case, controller, and Live headset will all be black. It will have all new packaging.
* Elite will cost $479, and will be a 3rd SKU; it will be sold alongside Premium and Core packs.
* Eventually Elite hardware (in white plastics) will take the role of the Xbox Premium. That is to say, after the Elite is launched and sold out, future Xbox Premiums will have 120GB / HDMI.
* We do not yet know exactly when 120GB / HDMI will become the standard for Premium, but it is loosely estimated to be late summer or fall.
* Elite models run cooler than normal 360s, but they are not yet confirmed to have 65nm chips.
* Prices may remain the same with the 120GB / HDMI hardware upgrade in the Premium Xbox, but we may still see a price cut on the line when 65nm chips start shipping.
* The HD DVD drive will not be internal or bundled -- Microsoft never did or nor does not currently have plans to put an HD DVD drive in the 360.
* There are no current plans to integrate WiFi into the Elite or future Premiums (although that can always change).

Bollocks, I have to have that now, meaning I have to go through all the hassle of selling this 360 and then being without a console for weeks.

Thanks a lot Microsoft - next time, would you mind deciding what you're going to do with your fucking console before you release a test version on sale to the public?
 
^ I think ill stick to my Original 360. Not bothered about the lack of HDMI and whilst a 'fuckin old skool' black one would be awesome it doesnt justify me paying out a load more money.... not after buying the PS3 as well!
