Yeh saw neville's reaction. As a neutral I thought it was stupid. I can see all United fans loving him for it, and everyone else thinking hes a tw*t. Great footballer, obviously not a nice guy.

It's fucking refreshing to still see that passion in the game. Neville's loyalty to his club is an example to any player.

rockykabir said:I'll disagree....inciting the opposition's fan at either club or international level is wrong. Football is a passionate game and you have some crazy fans out there in the crowd. But for a player puts in an effort to run all the way across the pitch to piss off the opposition area of the crowd, I find that extremely irresponsible - especially during an intense match like today.
However, I wouldn't be so stressed if Neville ran up to his own crowd.

But yeah, the people who will consider that as something heroic are the tabloids and your Daily Mail readers....but thats a different debate altogether.

rockykabir said:yeah...it is kinda hard
Thats the passion of footy I guess
He played well but I thought it was a dumb decision to have Evra, Giggs and Richardson all playing at the same time when we have Fletcher on the right.Adonis said:anyone got a comment to make about giggsy in centre mid?
Thought he played well alongside Richardson.
