A perfect example why so many of you morons like to pick on Man Utd. We go on a little bad run and lose a game and now people make comments like that.juveboy said:
I've never really got that either.JayM said:I'm probably imagining this but why do United play with wingers? I don't think Rooney and Nistelrooy are the best headers of the ball and they seem to score most goals with low strikes in and around the box...
I think they should play more centrally.
were second in the league in goals, behind chelsea and 7 ahead of you.... Im not sure why wes brown was not in the lineup, and sorry son but scholes is still one of the best in englandbradley1886 said:i still think your struggling to score goals, ruud has got a load and rooney has got his fair share but other than that no one else scores. giggs and scholes aren't the players they used to be (same with pires and freddie i suppose, although they did both play well yesterday). i reckon some other players need to chip in more, maybe ronaldo, scholes ect.that would relieve a bit of pressure from the front two.

RuneEdge said:Heinze IMO isnt ready for CB yet cuz he communicating would be harder. We need to have some kind of interpreter in the middle which is why Silvestre is there. And I've noticed that our worst games are usually the ones where Rooney doesnt get much of the ball so maybe having Rooney in Scholes' position and trying it him out behind Ruud and Saha might be something thats worth a shot.
If thats true then maybe you're right. But communication is VERY important between two centre backs. If someone like Henry is running at you, you have to quickly make decisions like who goes in the the tackle and who would stay back. And if one player is out of position, you need to sometimes let them know whether you are there to cover or will the player need to track back, etc, etc. So it depends on how good his english is. If there are still areas he needs to improve on, I dont think its worth taking the risk of playing Heinze there. But he's injured right now so he has enought time to learn the languagephrase said:I'm sure Heinze could speak the basics by now,I read his interview on our offical mag a couple of months ago and he did mentioned his english is improving.Heinze alongside Rio would be perfect.Silvestre shouldnt have been in the team against City,Sir Alex mentioned that Silvestre was chosen so he could guide Evra...but i didnt want to understand that cause Evra could speak English!
I wouldnt say dropping back isnt one of his strengths, its rather something he chooses not to do. If he was told to do so, he could cuz I've seen him defend many times in the past and he was brilliant. How many times can you remember Rooney defending in his own half in the dying moments of the game where he made the all important tackle and started a counter attack? I can think if many matched where he has done that. Its one of reasons why people think he's such a good player.phrase said:Having Rooney playing in Scholes position would be a big gamble.I just cant see it happening if we were to stick with 4-4-2. It might work with 4-3-3.Dropping back & defending isnt exactly Rooney's strength. That would leave our DMF seriously lacking in cover if Rooney failed to track back in a counter attack.
