WHOA, didnt he bring in Ronaldo, Rooney, Ruud, Van Der Sar,
Rio, Rossi, HEINZE, Tim Howard(ok no jokes but he was awesome in his first year)Spector, Saha(8 goals in his first 10, not SAF fault he is injury prone)Park. For every blunder there is a star.... ANd eveyone one of the guys I mentionend is a National Team starter or in the pool(bar rossi)

Apparently, Saha has a record with us of 13 goals in 12 starts. So I dont think its fair to bash him.

I dont think anyone has bash him before based on his performance.Its his injury proness that gets on with everyone's nerves.But I hope he is back to his best now with that goal against WBA.I believe if Ruud is suspended for today's game,then Saha should start alongside Rooney.Expect fireworks and more.C'mon United!!!

Ruud is playing!!!! I thought the ban was for league games and not all domestic competitions but clearly I was wrong.

And I'm not saying you're bashing Saha, phrase. Its just that so many United fans here wouldnt mind seeing him leave. I personally would keep him at all costs cuz theres no other player I can think of that would take his place in our squad.

Great game today. Good performance from most of the players. There were a few moments in defence again that worried me at times but overall it was ok.
We were great in the first half but seemed kinda tired in the second until Ronaldo come on and brought some life back into our attack.

Good result but I wasn't happy with the way we played in the second half, or atleast 'till Ronaldo came on.

I think the players stop trying after 1 goal, though pretty safe I think teams should always have a 2-3 cushion.

Good result in the end though.

Saha the footballer is great, Saha the injured and can't play isn't quite as useful. If he can stay healthy, awesome, i think he looks great, but if he has another long lay off, its hard on the squad to be without a backup senior striker.

Good performance today, should have scored numerous goals. Ruud was a bit wasteful. Thought Ronaldo played well when he came on, but oculd have used some protection from the ref, i hope he's not hurt for wendesday, cause he was taken out several times. Surprised Ruud got the whole game, hope he'll be sharp in the week...

And scholes finally scored :)

I think Rooney in general has to work on his awareness in front of goal.

Good win last night.We were a bit slow in getting the second goal thus big guns like Ruud and Rooney couldnt be rested come the hour during the game.It kinda paid off thou considering both players scored.Its true that some flaws are still needed to be sorted out before Benfica.Primarily in defence,I'd bring back Gaz to rightback and place Brown in tandem with Rio.Silvestre isnt looking his cocksure best lately,maybe he needs a rest.Other than that,we have the best possible players in midfield and attack.If anyone hadnt noticed,its Mike Phelan now assisting Sir Alex during games while Carlos Quieroz sits back,I think its has got to do to our style reverting back to the favoured 4-4-2.Based on the last few games I cant see us not qualifying for the knockout stages of CL.Bring on Benfica and lets kick it home.

A few more minutes till the return of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.It will be wierd seeing him again after so long.I will speak on behalf of the millions of his fans,its great news for us all.Starting eleven after 18 months and looking terrific in training sessions according to Sir Alex.Its make or break for the legend tonight.Lets all pray he will come thru this,unscathed.Match review will be up tmrw.C'mon United!

gotcha, caught some of it on pplive, ole didn't get any service, our reserves actually played terribly in the first half. Really really poor. Particularly number 7, whose name i'm not going to try to spell. I've heard such goodt ihngs about them too, dissapointed to see this is it.
