gotcha, caught some of it on pplive, ole didn't get any service, our reserves actually played terribly in the first half. Really really poor. Particularly number 7, whose name i'm not going to try to spell. I've heard such goodt ihngs about them too, dissapointed to see this is it.
 Most of our reserve team players have been loaned out.
What you saw was kinda like a reserve reserve team. Pique, Rossi and Blake are good but the rest of them have gone like Eagles, Richardson (now first teamer), Jones, Spector, Bellion, and Miller.

And something I've just realised about our next few fixtures:
Wed 7/12 19:45 SL Benfica UCL A
Sun 11/12 16:00 Everton FAPL H
Wed 14/12 20:00 Wigan Athletic FAPL H
Sat 17/12 12:45 Aston Villa FAPL A
We have Benfica, a 3 day rest, then Everton, then a 2 day rest, then Wigan, followed by another 2 day rest, and then Villa.
FOUR GAMES IN TEN DAYS!!!!!!!!! How do we get through that?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread- '“I THINK I’ve found you a genius.”

Great comeback by Ole Solskjaer.Had a couple of chances scrambled away, made some great channel runs and passes.Got stuck in with a few tackles as well which will come well with the manager.I'm sure we are all happy and proud of the dedication this player has shown us over the last 19 months, didnt want to and didnt gave up.What a model player this lad is.

For once our reserve boys didnt played well last night.Pool's first goal was a mistake by the 16 yr old debutant Cathcart, capitalised by Ramon Calliste who was jeered with "Who's that Bas***d?" chants all the way.Second goal was scored by Neil Mellor who also made a comeback from a serious knee injury.

10 games in 4 days huh? I'm sure players will be rested and rotated wisely by Sir Alex.He knows what to do for sure, having doing it before for the last 19 years. Our bench is looking stronger by the day and its looking brighter for us already.

I'm sure the £60,000 per week for most of them will get them through 4 games in 10 days.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread- '“I THINK I’ve found you a genius.”

I think we've learnt from the past that our second string of players cant get the job done...

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

We cant string a couple of passes together and why oh why is O'Shea still our left-back? Brown in centre and Silvestre at left-back isnt too hard to see that is our best option!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

utter rubbish first half. Someone needs a kick up the bum and a headbutt to add.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Malcom Glazer at the end of the first half - "Alright men, we have 3 more quarters and all our timeouts to turn this thing around and reach the playoffs!"

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Never saw an away team get so many dodgy decisions.

Ronaldo's little finger gesture.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

tick tock tick tock.

I dont get it. . why can't they score in Europe??? Answers?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

on a side note, Werder Bremen are torching Panathinaikos for 5 goals. . enough to take the second spot from Udinese . .

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Out of interest, in Portugese football, is it customary to leave one's testicles in the locker room, and play like whining, acting, pathetic pieces of shit for an entire half? I'm just curious?

It was Udinese's first time in CL. At least they got UEFA Cup unlike someone else ;)

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

FUCK!!! WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS TEAM?! 1 win in 6 CL games is shit. Why the hell was oshea starting and why the hell didnt park jing sing play from the start.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

And if you think my comments are unjustified: See Beto, who had to be stretchered off on the electric cart, then leapt off of it and ran back onto the picth. Now UEFA/FIFA, you crack down on Wayne rooney's mouth, but that kind of 'sportsmanship' is just dandy.

We may be out, but at least United don't pull tha time wasting crap. I've had to watch it in every single CL game they've played this season, and its really just ruined my impression of the various teams. And their coaches. And UEFA and whoever is suppsoed to promote football and not acting. You may argue that at least you won, and winnings everything, but I would rather have lost and not have to watch myself on a video one day, rolling on the gruond like a baby.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Noted: On a side note if it amuses you so much wathcing an english club get knocked out of the CL, you must have had some really good laughs the past few years at Arsenals expense...

Good point but United shouldnt have let benifica get in a position to want to waste time, same thing happened when we played porto.
