Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

But then we wont be able to play in their in the final next year?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

ffs put in a bid its only at £30 mill could easily go £50 mill and lets see if Madrid go higher more money to waste for them.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

----Benzema---Raul-------
--Kaka------------Ronaldo-
------Alonso--Diarra-----

Cunts.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

They'll just go and get Ribery now regardless of what Bayern say and the raping of football will be complete.

I hope Florentino Perez get kicked by his wife in bed at night, I really do, constantly...in the goolies...

Not so fast.

What chance do you really think you have of keeping someone when Madrid want them?

Very good chance, considering Alonso isn't exactly a Galactico, and Madrid will be very reluctant to pay the 40M Rafa wants.

Rafa and Xabi are yet to have talks. I'm sure it will all be sorted.

After Rafa was so willing to let Alonso go last summer, I can't see him being able to keep Alonso that easily this summer.

Rafa didn't let Xabi go because his valuation wasn't met. He won't let him go if his valuation is not me this summer. Xabi is just as happy staying here, he's said as much.

If any there's any team that can meet Alonso's valuation, it's Real.

Will they? Against, Alonso isn't a household name, and a player they might not want to spend that kind of money on. They can get Fabregas if they want Spanish. If they offer something stupid, (40-45M), you have to consider it, and we might sell, but whether they meet that much I doubt.

Only way is Xabi wants to go, and in that case, you can't really do anything. I hope (and think) that's not the case.

It's not only about money. SAF could easily have offered £30 million, but what can he do if Benzema wants to go to Real. He can't force someone to sign for United, can he?

In the end it was up to him, and it was always going to be Madrid.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Not that I fancy u guys to buy him, but Real has won the Benzema race for 30 Mil.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

I reckon we should buy Rossi back tbh I mean he had a good Confeds Cup Campaign and we do have a buy-back option on him... surely he's be a lot cheaper? And seriously why the fuck have Madrid bought Benzema... So many players/egos it's gonna be hard tryna to please everyone!

Snedijer to Utd as well?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

The thing about the buy back clause is apparently not true.

SAF would have not let a good prospect gone without a Buy-Back clause.... Again at this rate Martins from Newcastle is looking like the only "decent" player we could buy...

It makes sense to me. Van Nistelrooy has been out injured for so long and Huntelaar hasn't really made an impact in la Liga. I can see them make way in the future along with Saviola. That leaves only Raul (who'll probably hang his boots in a few years) and Higuain.

Don't be soft, there's loads of players we could sign, it's just about getting the right guy (and getting in there before Real do ).

Anyway, if it was true, the clause was only for first option if Villareal decide to sell him, we can't just say "Oi, here's €9m, give us Rossi back".

I'd welcome him back, but I'm not 100% sure it'd work out. He looked great at the Confederations Cup but the only game he really made an impact in was against 10 man USA and the other time he did good for Italy was against Northern Ireland!

I dunno, I we'll just have to wait and see what SAF's got planned and what he pulls out the bag.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Any of you already hoping one of the big3 will draw Real in the CL group stages next season? I think it will be the only game that I will be supporting Utd or Chelsea and really hoping they hammer them. Or Liverpool giving them another hiding would be very amusing.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Again something just mentioned in a previous post JK Huntelaar anyone?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

I thought Martins was the only player left worth signing?

If we're gonna buy off Madrid we should at least go for Higuain. Strong rumours that we've got a deal in place for Robben too.

Robben seriously needs to prove his fitness anyways... Otherwise its like Hargreaves all over again...
