Manchester United Thread

he`s alway a sulk regardless of his comments SAF promise him a starting role. Time will tell but imo he`s no professional..good luck anyhow

Late rumours from OT is that ferguson has been canned for wanting to put in a bid for Joey barton and for being infuriated by letting Senderos slip away to milan.

I wonder if Robinho knew he was signing for City?
Most people on the continent refer to United as just "Manchester". Could just imagine him pulling up to their stadium and thinking "oh, bugger"!! ;))

Congratulations for your new number 9!
I am from Bulgariq and I can asure you that Dimi have become a national hero here.
Man Utd have a lot of fans in Bulgaria, and it is great to have the capitan of the national team in the best club of the world.

To asure you how great is the influence of Manchester United take this for example!

We have a person who renamed himself to Manchester Jordanov United! First one in the world. Man Utd have many fans here, and we love the club!

Once again congratulations!

I'm gonna adopt a kid and call him that. Thats a genius name.

Seems like Mick Phelan has been appointed as our Number 2 alongside Sir Alex...a good natural move in my view...the man has been with us since 1999 and should know the club inside out.

Just been reading about how Possebon is helping Fabio and Rafael settle in to the country. He can speak almost fluent English having lived in the US for a few years and learning English when he was in Brazil so he's been acting as their interpreter while they're learning.

They live on the same street and he goes round for tea most nights as they live with their mum and she cooks samba style cooking and makes him feel at home!

Ain't that sweet!

whoa when did possebon live in the uS? can you point me to the article.. maybe he can get US citizenship :)

Gomito - I just re-read it and realised I messed up, he only lived there 7 months so no chance of a citizenship! His dad is Italian though (that's why he didn't need a work permit) so he could play for them. I read it in 'InsideUnited' magazine mate so I can't link you to it I dont think.

And YG - We're better than Brazil ;-) Haha.. We've got 4 now and 8 fluent in Portuguese so it must have quite an influence.

I hate international football, Its even worse when your English, I go from watching free flowing football to arguably the worst football on the International stage :(( Cant wait for the break to end, Berba's debut against the Scouse will be one to remember hopefully!

damn International footie boring.... always someone comes back injured stupid bloody thing!! I hope Fergie can remove that sulk from Berba as he is an exceptional player who zones out from time to time!!

No Ronaldo. No Torres.

It's going to be Keane vs Berbatov. Should be interesting.

I'm not baiting but it's not like either made any difference last season. Gerrard wanders round in no mans land and makes zero impact on the game and all Torres did was help the Masch get sent off at OT

I honestly think they'll be better without them, they wont be forced to rely on them like they usually do and the other players will probably do a better job.

I completely agree about the Gerrard part.

Should probably go in the Liverpool thread but since were on the top what are your thoughts on Gerrard Abhi? A lot of people think he doesnt do well in CM is due do him having poor positioning and he ends up just chasing the ball which some say has made him even worse in CM due to his constant changing of positions. I think without a "Free Role" he seems to struggle.

Hey why mention Gerrard. Even if he's mentioned in the starting lineup, you'll struggle to see him on the pitch. ;))

Especially when Hargreaves or Anderson is around! I wont even bother if the both of them are playing! Banter aside but this international break has been shite. I hope our players come back without any injuries whatsoever.
