Manchester United Thread

Who do you guys think we should start with up front tomorrow?
My money's on Berbatov & Rooney, with Tevez coming on for DB9 after an hour (unless we opt to start Tevez on the wing)
 
We're away to Liverpool (lunch time kick off here).
Should be interesting as both teams are likely to be missing big names (Gerrard & Torres are doubtful for them)...

Ronaldo is due back around the end of September, early October at the very latest.
 
I heard he missed out for Brazil with injury, but didn't know it was that bad.
That list looks quite worrying - our key centre midfield (bar Scholes) is there! I guess it will be Scholes & Fletcher in the middle tomorrow?
 
Both Torres and Stevie G have been passed fit for lfc.

For us i think Giggs Carrick and Hargreaves return, and of course Berbatov should play at some point!

SAF knows how to play it at anfield, our record there is pretty good.

Depends on which CM we have available, If we can field Carrick, Scholes, Hargo/Ando then he might start with Roo/Tev but I expect Tevez and Rooney to start :))
 
I know I'll probably go back on what I'm about to say this time next year but I find it really hard to hate the guy. Lets hope he's back for Chelsea. We've really missed him IMO.
 
Well, it's the line up most fans have called for, let's see how it does against a very structured, disciplined liverpool team :)

I have this terrible feeling the ref is going to settle this match, one or the other. Fingers crossed he's not needed!

Strange half. We've looked comfortable except for two VDS howlers, but haven't created too much other than 2 chances for Tevez. Lots of down timein the match, where pool pass between their back 4 and mach. Maybe that's how they always play?

No tempo to the game. Shocked at VDS.
 
Wow, no idea what the worst part of the match was:
a. VDS
b. Lack of effort
c. Vidic being an idiot
d. Liverpool not actually being very good, but still beating us
 
We were rubbish, Fergie messed up the tactics, we had no shape at all. Liverpool looked a lot more fluid and fresh (although they have played 2 more games this season) compared to us and it was desperate at the end. Berbatov did nothing other than the assist. Bit disappointing really. Anyway, this time last season we'd drawn 2 and lost one so it's not all bad.
 
They deserved it. Our midfield was piss poor really. They pressured us and kept us from playing our game.
Fuck up by van der Sar let them back in, but we've robbed them over the last few years so we can't complain too much.
 
Gutted really because we looked great before and after taking the lead...after that it all went Pool's way.It a disappointing game for us but still,hats off to the Scouse for bringing their A-game...NEXT.
 
Man Utd played horrible the second half, one of the worst second half I have seen from them. They couldnt string more than 2 passes together. Very disappointing.
 
Abysmal.

All went downhill after the goal.

Berba was awful, but not nearly as bad as VDS, and Vidic was just silly.

And why, if you play all three of Tevez, Rooney and Berbatov, put Rooney on the right wing where he can't do anything.

Shocking.
