He's basically saying that he's 27 now and he's just signed a 4 year contract with us, so he expects this to be the last big step in his career. He knows he's at (or atleast reaching) the peak of his career so now was the perfect time to join us. Can't really argue with that to be honest. From his point of view, this was probably the right thing to do. And this gives us a little more reassurance that he probably wont be a bitch at our club cuz he doesnt expect to move on to "greater things" from here.
