Manchester United Thread

Yeh, but the most important thing for me is that we need to keep the players we have at the club and that is harder than bringing in new guys , cause how long wil Ronaldo stay? Nani? Anderson? Tevez? these types of players are happy at the club but once they achieve everything with a club they tend to want to move on unlike other players of old like Giggs and Scholes

no basis at all there. Only Heinze has ever wanted to leave us.

Yeh but times are changing really, even though Ruud wanted to stay for the rest of his career it didnt work out , you could say we replaced him etc, but how can you really replace someone like that who acheived so much at the club and did so much for it, im saying things can change instantly like they have before

I think the point is, we let go of players rather than players wanting to leave us. And Sir Alex is only gonna drop someone if he thinks he doesnt need them. So if Ronaldo leaves in the few years, it'll most likely be because we dont want or need him anymore.
Not like what has happened at Arsenal over the last few years.

LMAO the jabs your throwing at Arsenal at the moment are hilarious:mrgreen: , I think we should just let it go until we just beat them , does anyone know that if they keep there unbeaten run intack until they play us what number it will be ? 49?\\:o/

Of course how could a player ever possibly want to leave the Theatre of Dreams, they all must be forced out or let go.

Hang on wasn't Heinze desperate to leave to go to your great rivals, or did I just dream that?

When was the last time you went 49 games unbeaten then??

Okay smart arse. Tell us another one that wanted to leave?

John Obi Mikel was a wanker... plain and simple. He said he was "Forced" To sign for United... I personally think he signed and then decided "I want to play for the Champions because I think im one of the best players in the world!".. He is rubbish so im glad he went.... As for Heinze we treated him well, let him have his injury sorted where HE wanted it done.... and then he shats on us. Actually his agent caused it all!

And as for Ruud Van Nistelrooy.. if ever it was evident he didnt want to play for us anymore and couldnt be bothered... look at our Defeat to Liverpool in that FA Cup game at Anfield.... he strolled around the pitch as if he didnt care and didnt want to be out there.....

For God Sake, can we move on from the childish "my team is better that yours" arguments? Arsenal are looking very tasty at the moment, give them the credit they deserve. People will ALWAYS view United as the enemy because of our dominance in domestic football over the last two decades (apart from the two-year Chelsea dominance). Learn to agree to disagree or we'll be arguing about the same shit for the next few pages.

Back on-topic, internationals this weekend - can't stand them. Pointless friendly with Austria tomorrow, any money a United player will pick up an injury.

What was god thinking about when he made pineapples, I mean come on:freak:

It like a fruit with hair, an afro fruit....that must be wrong for goodness sake.

See now questions of world importance exist about the meaning of fruits need for hair and all you can do is bicker about whos christmas tree has the bigger balls:shock:

Ooo my Arsenal has has a bigger hamper if you look at it from this angle, nay nay my Man Utd hamper has more dairy products making it more noteworthy I think you'll find.

The proof is in the eating of the tree, wait until may till you see whos hamper had better cheesey consumables and just accept in the meantime that you both have good sets of big christmas balls....

Analogies do not come better than this, this is the analogy of our times and incredibly pertinent.

P.S

I'm off to sail on a boat made of disolvable disprin across an ocean of piss..

I don't have to explain why I put that do I? You're not that stupid are you?
Well the obvious reason was because you're being childish. I was just hoping you can justify yourself and not make yourself look stupid. I guess that was too much to ask for.

At the end of the day YoungGun made a little dig at us and I made a little one back. Its called banter! Nothing serious. It really didn't need you to reply with your high and mighty hat on.

Post of the year!

This place has gone to the dogs, I'm off.

Yes the bickering was actually the height of intellectual football debate and a counterpoint to my absurdity, as opposed to me highlighting the absurdness of the climate already existing in such bickering.

I am now covered in disprin stained piss, I have always found that to be such a persistent:freak: stain.

It wasnt a dig at you. He's just pointing out that the last time you went 49 games unbeaten, you came to Old Trafford and lost. If you go another 49 games unbeaten, you come to Old Trafford again for the 50th game. Just something for people who like to believe in omens. No disrespect or anything.

I love all the banter with the Arsenal fans especially Clockender, I think hes a good member of the forum

It would be shite if this forum were all Man United fans!

be careful what you wish for..you lots go over the edge kicking everyone out of your thread every time they don`t fall in line w/ the other sheeps. IMO this thread is the most hostile

To be fair a lot of you were extremely hostile towards me for a while, even though I wasn't even talking like an opposing fan. I kept being accused as being other people who I was not and obviouisly am still not...

It is all settled now and was so some time ago and everyone has been nice since, but I did have a terrible time of it for a while.

I am probably now seen with more affection because people know I come here in pease to make none attacking comments that are either genuine and football related or I just muck about with some silly talk.

I am probably seen now as a benign turd....warm, soft, slightly unpleasant at times, but not dangerous
