Henry's body is in hiding from Danny Mills at the moment, Good old Danny will snap him next time they play on the same pitch ;)

Do you guys really need Milner from Leeds with Saha and RVN? I mean if one of those 2 gets injured then the other is capable of playing upfront alone with Scholes behind.

Wouldnt be willing to sell Ole to the Boro would u? ;) :D

Boy, do Boro need an Ole at the moment! (Obviously not an injured one!) :D

Indeed we do - altho we dont need one to put the arse out of the CC and FA Cup (ok so maybe not FA but hey)!

Where's he gonna fit back into your team anyway? No room upfront with RVN and Saha surely so is he gonna be back to being a super sub?

No more signings for us til summer now.

No interest in Milner at all.

Saha, Miller and Dong is the be all and end all of our Winter signings.

Press conference to introduce Saha as our new number 9, if he he's half as good as Cole was for us in that Shirt then we'll be okay.

And Boro' you cant keep ya smoggy paws of Ole, ya club aint worthy!!! :)

Strangely it doesn't have the same effect on me. ;)

hahaha that game still gets to Wenger and gooners to this day...

beautiful!!!

The moment that gives me goosebumps, even though I didn't get to see it first time was Mickey T's goal at Anfield in 89. Now that is how you win a league in style.

Good old Michael Thomas. Now, that takes me back! By the way, Nicky, does Henry`s body turn you on? ;)

Doesn't it anyone!!!! ;)

Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has finalised an agreement with Fulham for the transfer of Louis Saha.

The total consideration for this transfer is £12.825m (£11.5 m payable to Fulham, £0.575m levy payable to the FA Premier League and £0.75m fees payable to agents). Sir Alex Ferguson said: “Louis is a young and exciting talent and has made incredible progress. We have got a young and gifted centre forward - his performances against Manchester United have showed us that. To have finally secured this deal is fantastic and a great boost to the club.”

David Gill, Chief Executive of Manchester United PLC, said: “This is a terrific signing for Manchester United and all our fans. Louis is a gifted player and will fit well into an already strong team.”

It's gonna be interesting to see how he gets on. I personally think he's the next Forlan not horse face, but i'll be willing to eat my words if i'm wrong.

I don`t think he is the next Forlan - Saha is in superb form at the moment, he is young, and at the end of the day, French. Most of the French players are arrogant sods, but technical and very gifted. If he plays like where he left off at Fulham, we are in for a treat, especially with the United training facilities at his disposal and the players surrounding him - look at the support he will get from Scholes, Ruud, Giggs, Keane etc. Watch this space . . .

I imagine though at Fulham the whole gameplan would have been 'get the ball to louis' however I don't think he'll get that at Man Utd, Van needledick will always be the favourite.

What, like the Arsenal gameplan? Get the ball to Henry? ;) If Saha can get a partnership going with Ruud (like the old Yorke/Cole double) then its game over. A lot of my Gooner friends where I live are shittin` themselves because we have gone into the transfer market and added depth to our squad, where as Arsenal still haven`t bought a new player. Its the on-going debate, the Goons are fuc*ed if Henry gets injured - and in the heart-of-hearts, you all know that.

That's true, the only time we could have said look we can play without Henrywas at the Walkers stadium, but we fucked that by letting in a ast minute equaliser. I think we will get a quality striker in the summer but by then it could be too late.

I think Saha will do well, like Yorke did in his first season. I dont think Saha will go off the boil after a few seasons though, not really the party animal that Dwight was and I can see him getting better each year. He' s a good finisher I hope he does well.

Its been up in the air with the transfer of Robben, as with the Saha deal, Chelsea have come in to try and get the same player, but as Charlton have shown this week, money isnt everything.

Robben's father and agent:

"It is quite simple. Arjen will play only for PSV or United."

So it seems Roman will have to go and spend his money on something else.

I think it's now a mind game between teams and Roman, just a chance or someone to say"Yeah I told Roman NO!"

I read a great part of mediawatch the other day where they had Coleman saying, "Saha will leave this club over my dead body". The quote underneath read, oh dear, poor Mrs Coleman.

Fergie on Saha:

"We wanted to get him on a long contract, he is a young player we feel will develop into a very good one. Three years ago he played against us in the FA Cup and did very well and that is when our interest began.

"When Fulham came into the Premiership it was impossible to do any business at that point but we kept looking at him and this year we decided to make an offer. That was refused but it started the negotiations and we are delighted that we have been able to secure his transfer.

"Strikers we've brought to the club in the past have been very different but they all share a great enthusiasm to play the game. Louis has two good feet, he is very quick and aggressive and is good in the air. They are great assets to have and a little bit different from the players we have at the moment. It's fantastic to see a developing, quality player come to the club and in the next few years I expect him to be even better."

Can't wait to get home tonight, i'll be updated my beloved Utd with a new strikeforce Saha alongside Ruud, I can see it being pretty deadly!!

I've just realised Saha is the first left footed striker we've had in years. As far back as I can remember, all our strikers have been right footed....
Ruud, Forlan, Solskjaer, Cole, Yorke, Teddy, Eric, McClair, Hughes......have I missed anyone?
Jordi Cruyff was left footed if I remember correctly, but was he really classed as a striker? Even if he was, he wasnt exactly one of our more prominent signings.

Forlan is both-footed, but his stronger one is his left.
