Manchester United Thread

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Does SAF often attend City games? He was in the crowd tonight in Manchester, wonder if he's maybe 'shopping'.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Its alright, kinda like small town America though. Only 60,000 of us! But we get ESPN Deportes, which makes it all worth it...(just about anyway)

Anyone else see the rumours about Edu? Think he'd fit into United's style of play? I'm not convinced...

oh cool, we dont get that, im pisssed we dont. You get alot of champions league. Man it must be sweet to live in paradise. I dont think Edu would be that great for us, we need a dynamic playmaker, and edu is far from it...

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

yea i agree, edu is like a kleberson, just one of those sub-par and underachieving brazilians.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Well, I`m taking my lady to Old Trafford for her first time tomorrow, she can`t wait. I hope we hammer Sparta, and keep up our good Champions League run. I reckon we will get the win, it`s different football in Europe, and we are superb at Old Trafford - its a fortress.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Well, it is where Porto beat you guys last year.

Oops--- and Real Madrid.

both vital games.

I`m talking in general terms - and we all know Porto were a dodgy team to win the ECL. We were dissallowed an obvious Scholes 2nd goal, and after that they had an easy-ish run to the final, compared to the other clubs.

Oh, I bet you enjoyed the Deportivo 2nd leg last season, I know I did!

yes yes, and where los galaticos beat us two years ago, we get it. but yes ninja, in an overall gist, we do play better football at home, and i hope the trend continues.

hope you and the missus enjoy the match

anyhow, my guess? 3-1 united, ruud, rooney... SCHOLES!

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Yeah, I hope Scholes has a good game, he is wanna my favourite United players of the last decade, too. Its been a while since we`ve seen him score a few?

I aint taking the piss out of Milan, I think they are a quality club, except most of the fans are pyscho`s, and you have to share a stadium, I would hate sharing with the Shitty.

Porto: We drew 1-1 with them at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid: We beat them 5-3, I think, at Old Trafford.

No defeats out of them two.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

Sorry then, took your previous post the wrong way.

But the good thing about sharing stadiums is when it comes to a derby, it explodes.

My favourite derby in football is the Milan derby - class. Except the last 0-0 game was not so good. I do enjoy the Shitty games, just not when they beat us 4-1. That sucks.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

well whatever the situation is with scholes, mancheter united can depend on their most prolific striker to be suiting up in the midweek clash with Sparta Prague. ruud van nistelrooy, who missed the weekend defeat to portsmouth due to suspension, will definitely return to the starting line-up. Ruud "is the best" and "I can guarantee that he will be playing" says a confident sir alex ferguson.

CMON UNITED

Remember when Ronaldinho was all but going to Old Trafford...but didn't. Ahhh....good times.
I saw his goal against AC Milan yesterday and imagined what an impact he would have made hear. Man U fans would have been worshipping him by now.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

It's awfully quiet in the arsenal thread this morning, not much chat about diving and dodgy penalties. Mind you they only really get plenty of posts when they play us.Back on topic , hope Poborsky gets a good reception from the fans tonight, just didnt seem to happen for him at O.T.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.

luckily I was away at the weekend and only saw the highlights from the pompey game, we looked pretty poor and missed tons of chances, bit of a waste of a result after beating the arse bandits but this type of thing happens.

Big game for us tonite, its only our second CL home game and we need the points.

Of course this is overshadowed by The Derby on Sunday, where we CANNOT afford to lose, id rather the arsewipes beat us than that pile of shite from the wastelands.
