LVG is such a cold bastard:

"He doesn't follow my philosophy. There is no place for someone like that," said Van Gaal of his January signing. He said: "Last year, he refused to play in the second team and there are other aspects you need as a keeper at United.

"When you are not willing to follow those principles, there is only one way and that is out.

"It is a big disappointment. It is a pity because we have given him the opportunity to rehabilitate, gave him a contract and then he is fit to play."

Whoa, LVG on full on cold mode.

Can see it his way, but am just surprised. Valdes did turn out 3 times for the ressies, and in case LVG didn't notice, that'll mean Anders Lindegaard is starting in August (!)

Evans is the new Silvestre. Seems to be fine for 89 minutes of a match, but in that other minute he will have gifted the opponent a crystal clear chance to score. Not good enough at the top level, unfortunately.

Sucks as I've been watching him since youth days. Really thought he'd kick on after an amazing year alongside Rio...but gone so far backwards.

Heard an interesting crap theory re: signings.
- Di Maria to PSG => decent fee, say 35m GBP => United need a winger
- De Gea to Madrid => decent fee, say 35m GBP => Madrid have to be nice to United
- United have 70m GBP, Madrid owe us a nicety, and we need a left footed winger...

Just saying. Muppetry of the highest order.

I've been convinced were still trying to get Bale since last summer but in your theory.. Where does the new goalie come into play that we would need?

Bale doesn't want to play for Manchester United. He hasn't been receptive to the idea, at all. people need to quit that talk, even if he becomes surplus at Madrid he'll eye up Chelsea IMO.

We'd be crazy to sell Di Maria, unless the player himself wants to leave.

Maybe you will finally sign Gaitan?

Think you'll get Otamendi too

Clearly a GK will be needed

And you'll be signing a ST as well

Would make for a huge turnover

GK: DDG Replacement - that dutch dude?
RB: Dalmian
CB: Otamendi?
CM: Schneiderlin
CM: Swcheinsteiger
AM: Depay
AM: Di Maria replacement - Gaitan?
ST: Cavani?

Teams will be so confused when they play us. Until they see Rooney's mug and breathe a sigh of relief that they recognize at least one player.

So it seems like De Gea will run down his contract seeing as Real just signed Kiko Casilla.

Yeah that's been obvious, Real are going to have to wait a year unless we can negotiate Ramos into the deal.

Gives us a year to find the right replacement.

I hope for your sake van Gaal won't get Cillessen. He's a decent goalkeeper but in my opinion he's like Daley Blind; decent but not suited for the level United want to return to.

Van Persie left and opened up about Van Gaal being the reason he left. Now Valdes... who's next? Because the trend continues: Van Gaal being unable to manage egos.

I'd say he's not only cold blooded or ruthless, but more remarkably a ham-handed manager who compromises the greater good for his "philosophy". It's good to be confident, but his ways stink of arrogance.

He's been like this since always... He was at times unable to work with Rivaldo at Barcelona some 15, 16 years ago, when he was a Balon D'Or world beater.

I seriously doubt LVG's ability to take this team where you want it.
Let's face it, the Premiership nowadays clearly ain't no La Liga or Bundesliga (where if you manage one of the giant clubs you're guaranteed a share of silverware). It isn't anything like the Dutch Eredivise either, where you can win the league without superstar players.

I truly believe you won't be seeing silverware for as long as this man is your manager, regardless of how much money you spend.

I didn't read anything to suggest RvP was treated as rude as Valdes. In fact, his interviews suggest he already knew by the end of the season he would leave before the end of last season after talks with LVG. Also, one of RvP s buddies Kuyt confirmed the narrative that Robin himself still wanted to play in Turkey before the end of his career.
I'm not suggesting LVG isn't a prick at times, because he is, but it seems like the press is just walking away with this like it's all on him. There is another side to every story.

I think Van Gaal is the closes to SAF. Although Van Gaal has a reputation of a egomaniac only time will tell (if) ego is a liability or a strength. Mou is a bit of a seducer ,Wenger wants to be the saviour father to footballers. Pelligrini stays out of harms ways.

I just read news where Van Persie has been quoted as "not given a chance at Man United under LVG".
http://www.espnfc.com/barclays-prem...sie-no-honest-man-united-chance-with-van-gaal

Right now, it's a question of believing what RVP says though. We all know very well he's a snake, so maybe there was nothing much to it and he's just taking a parting shot at LVG.

 Van Persie didn't really take much of a parting shot, he just was told he wasn't part of LVG plans on the golf outing.

The only thing it shows is how ruthles Van Gaal is, everyone expected RVP to be his golden boy.

Soooo.. Any thoughts on LVG s continued comments about a possible surprise signing he said the press hasn't been talking about.. .which appears to be hinting at the CF position?

CR7 did move his image rights..:D

Ibrahimovic seems to be gaining some steam :... I'd cry tears of joy but its the most absurd rumour.

he's probably just fucking with the media, who knows.

Woodward will be after Pele next!

Lacazette would make much more sense, tho Ibra in the PL would certainly be interesting

Could be The Return of Bebe tho, you haven't been linked to him this summer
