manu playing attractive football. since when?

get over yourself

i will admit that arsenal play stunning football at times but comments like that are just plain ignorant, you havent watched the last decade of domestic english football then?

ronaldo and giggs going down the wings isnt attractive football, are you kidding me... seriously, be more open minded, arsenal play very attractive football, but so does United..

i'm sorry but i don't believe united play attractive football. ronaldo plays attractive football, but thats as an individual. your top scorer is RVN, whose furthest strike was about 5.6 yards. i still believe united are good and play good football but i would'nt call attractive

Figo for Fergie
Alex Ferguson has made a shock £5million move for Real Madrid star Luis Figo. The Manchester United boss believes he can convince winger Figo, 31, to quit the Bernabeu on the cheap and help him reclaim the Premiership title from Arsenal. Fergie sent Old Trafford officials to Spain yesterday to open talks with Figo, who cost Real £37m from Barcelona in 2000. Figo has one year left on his Madrid contract but has already admitted he plans to leave on a free transfer next summer, with Real reluctant to offer a new deal.
Eric Beauchamp, The Sun

Another great portugese being linked to us.Compared to Rui Costa,I personally prefer Figo. What do you guys think?

i believe you dont watch them, saha had 20 odd goals as well, and ruuds goals from 6 yards are some of the nicest goals i have seen, for instance dutch vs germany, yea i know it aint you united, but the beauty of ruud is he puts himself in the postition to score easy goals, THATS WHAT IS ATTRACTIVE!!!!!
United move the ball around teams at will, THAT IS ATTRACTIVE! your not brining up any points to your agrument mate... and one last thing, it doesnt matter if your goal is from 5.6 yards or 18, its a goal for fucks sake.... We have paul scholes to knock in the screamers from 20 + for us....

lolz...no doubt Arsenal play great football, but i would be open minded and check how other teams play...and trust me...some teams who aren't that good play really attractive and classy football!!! and Manchester United are no exception...They are great in attracting people to watch their games...their passes, shots, how they move up and attack together, they are all just great!!!

but i will be fair...it might not be attractive to u, but that does NOT mean it's not attractive...

Arsenal play great football true but its mainly due to there pace!

We play great football but but have nowhere near as much pace as Arsenal!

Both are great teams when they are in full flow!

Alan Smith vs Norwich City, Old Trafford, Sat 21 August. What a goal. Stop talking out of your arse. Fair play, we are not getting the results of late, but when it comes to playing good football and keeping the ball, United are one of the best at it.

saha scored most of his goals for fulham last season. and i do watch united, whether i enjoy it or not(same as chelsea). and just out of curiosity do you find ruud limping into the 6 yard box like quasimodo attractive?

What has that last line got to do with 'playing attractive football'? Thats scrutinizing! So do you wank to Henry when hes in full flight heading for the box??? I personally dont mind if Ruud hobbles around and still bang in goals for us week in week out....And to say that Ruud only scores from inside the box,can you name me at least 3 other players who is good at that?? Ruud is the master penalty box predator!!

I hope Roy Keane is wrong. United won't become the next Liverpool right? RIGHT?!!? WAAAA!! =''(

yeah....we might see Ole in 2006 January...can't wait!!! and it's great that he can play football again...hope that he won't get it injured again... ;)

ok...well, we are now starting to head into stupid arguments about players instead of attractive football...Bradley, u are just basically naming players and trying to make fun of them...

I seem to remember Ruud dribbling from nearly the half-way line right through Arsenal's defence before chipping the ball over the keeper.

Yeah, what a poacher.

The next Liverpool? Man Utd are the new Tottenham. They think they've still got a good team when it's patently obvious that they're in dire need of some serious rebuilding.

ermm? We ARE rebuilding our team from scratch if you are living under a pot all this while..and our team is GOOD enuff.

as i have always stated...it's way too early to say we suck...so once again...wait and see!!!!!

but yeah...hahaha, Ruud...his runs are just great!!! now i just want to see how tonite will play....

Rebuilding from scratch? What the hell, some of the posts in these forums crack me up. So Howard, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Scholes, Keane, Giggs, Ronaldo, V.Nistlerooy, Saha, Smith aint cutting edge? What a load of wank - we have a sublime squad. We are just waiting for big players to return from injuries/suspensions - who said we are the new Tottenham!??? WHAT!???!? They wish they could be compared to us . . . . . .

Why isn't David Gill letting Ferguson just buy Rooney? Even if everyone gets healthy, Smithy can always play behind the two strikers, and now without Forlan (and Ole for god knows how long) he'd still be 3/4 choice. To be honest I think in a year he'd b above Saha in the pecking order. Its a serious mistake to let him go to Newcastle if its true that he wants to be at united. Plus, can you imagine the Smith/Rooney duo after 4 years of training and playing together? England would benefit too! Dammittt buy him!!!

Oh and if United manage to lose tonight...maybe then they'll buy him.

i actually think the exact opposite to this
if we do go out tonite (God forbid!) we would lose a lot of invenstment from qualifying for the CL, around 15-20 million. so we would have no chance of putting a bid for Rooney then
