Manchester United Thread

Won't be posting again until likely after its all said and done.

However I think this window could be classed as a success with the following

  • Kept Wayne Rooney
  • Kept Nani and signed a new deal
  • Sign Herrera
  • Sign Fellaini

Let's see were we get.

Handed in a transfer request so Everton don't have to pay him some fees he would have been due if he was sold

Not happy that we've left all this today I must confess, hopefully Woodward (and Moyes) will have learned something from this experience.

What the flying fuck has happened to the Herrera deal?

Wants to come to the club, willing to take a paycut. We're apparently willing to pay release clause.

'Someone' from United goes to the LFP office to pay the clause and they're apparently imposters and not from United at all?

I can't even comprehend the monumental fuck up that this summer has been. Woodward needs sacking alongside everyone else working on the transfer side of things. Whoever hired him needs sacking too.

Feel bad for Moyes because all this is gonna drop on him from the majority of fans and I doubt it's really anything to do with him.

Feel even worse for Herrera. How must he be feeling right now? We've fucked our chance of ever buying him I think and a lot of other players will be looking at this and wondering what the fuck we're playing at. Jesus fucking wept.

Well Moyes had 3 months to sign players you would have to blame him

Exactly, he spent 3 months sat on his hands bidding on players we never had a real chance of signing.

Apparently there are United reps in Spain, if so then where the fuck are they?! Probably trying to buy Isco from Malaga, the oblivious prats.

I doubt Moyes is the one ringing clubs up and bidding low for their players.

That'll be down to Woodward and his cronies under supervision from Uncle Malc.

Heads are gonna roll for this, wonder what's actually happening at the club.

Those blokes in suits claiming to be from united apparently were just criminals trying to get in on the action

It's labor day in the US malc probably turned his phone off.

One club in the prem signed zero first team players.

I think it will be an achievement to get in the cl. One injury one to Carrick and we're toast.

Mixed feelings.. Fellaini is a player who's style and attituds I despise. But I can't escape the fact that he is the player we need to harden our midfield. I feel Coentrao (if its happening) is a stop gap signing since Baines became unavailable.

I know Evra is in the last year of his contract , so that would go some way to explain our interest in a permanent deal for Baines. But it's interesting that Moyes has identified the position as such a weakness that he felt the need to get a loan deal done.
