Ruud was captain yesterday!

yeah only for the first half, it was sposed to be giggs but they announced ruud as captain before the match kicked off, must have been cos we we're playing his old team.

Ruud had the cap-strap on his arm, so it wasn't it mistake.
As you mentioned, it must be because the match was against his old team.

Wasn't Eagles the captain in the second half? Who the hell decided to give him the strap?

And Saha has also got a haircut.

Van Nistelrooy out for a month.

No biggie really, yeah he'll miss the CL qualifier but thats why we've got Saha and Smith.

Don't act like you don't care. Youre crying inside. Let it out.

sorry :l

yeah we're not gonna have ruud for the massive games against chelsea, norwich, blackburn and bolton

oh the despair, the panic lets just give the title to the russian now.....

man that does suck, maybe cooper will get the call up, but i suppose fergie is gonna use forlan alot...

I'm so dissapointed the Ruud is out, I hope Saha and Smith perform well together. I also hope we have a more stable midfeild this season with less experimenting. Wasn't Saha an OMF against PSV?

Ruud's Looking like he will miss 7 games tops, it may be a blessing in disguise in that Smith and Saha get a chance to play together, which if Ruud was 100% fit they probably would never have done.

Its alright now that we have Smith.Maybe its what Ruud needs to rejuvenate himself after the Euro campaign. There is no need to cry a river Mr Pires7...I bet you will be more pissed if Vieira leaves...oh no wait...you goons will say he's passed his sell-by date.

Saying Ruud out for a month is no BIGGIE. No one's going to conceide the title hunt, but the brush it off like that is strange coming for someone wit the name Vannizzlefashizzal.

Well, Smith and Saha seem to have a good understanding together.

*Thinks to Smith scissor kicking Saha in PSV match*

I had this feeling that they won't get along. And then I saw that in the PSV match. Saha looked like he was trying to steal Smith's goal.
I have a bad feeling about them two.

And what makes you think that?
FFS, a pre-season opportunity where Saha and Smith mis-communicate and you think they don't like each other?
Bloody hell.

I had the feeling of it happening BEFORE the PSV match.

Its just the thought of Smith wanting Saha's spot in the first 11 and Smith's agressive attitude might cause trouble.

Now Ole's out agian. This would be no biggie but considering they don't have Ruud or Ronaldo for the first part of the season also it is.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
So many players are missing now.
We could almost make a whole XI with the missing players.

yeah...Forlan and Smith being the starters!!! lolz...well, it's fine, the beginning of the season ain't too important...November on is the real important part...(i think...but i might be wrong...)

Think Giggs and Smith will be the starters both wendesday and sunday, with Scholes on the left and Djemba Djemba in the role of central midfielder...
