I must say that we have seen better designs in the past but this is definitely different from the rest of the nike templates we have seen around.

the black one as a mark of respect to ferguson? i think this year could be his last. he might be forced to 'retire'.

No, man u had a very poor season (by their standards) and played their worst football for years last season. most of the signings ferguson made were not of sufficient quality. so if you get off to a bad start, along with the boardroom quarrels and red nose's nepotism it might well be sayonara alex.

i do think that without some new signings man u will struggle a bit next year. you need a whole new midfield. keane, giggs and scholes i think are no longer hungry enough and have gone a bit stale.

errm..the "black one" is the goal keeper's kit. And I noe I noe~~ Its okay,we understand your heart is still bleeding over Leeds relegation, bankruptcy, selling of stadium etc...Dont worry, its not the end of the world and it wont help to soothe out your heartache by pointing out other team's flaws.Do you need a hug?

hahahaha....poor leeds indeed...

yea, last season...blek!! but...Ronaldo is a great signing!!! the others...meh...not the best, but still ok...

as for Ole...KEEP THE MAN!!! HE IS A FIREPOWER!!! Off the bench, he just lights a new spark and kills the opposition!!!!

We are going through a transition period. The white shows the new era the club is beginning. The balck is from the old days. BTW, that is probably a load a crap, but it is the only thing that i can think of!

I don't really like the new kit. The Vodafone is oging to be very low down the chest, closer to the stomach!

By all accounts Ole is looking very lively after his hiatus, after missing out on both the domestic and international fronts he's gonna be fresh for this year.

"It meant a lot for me that Sir Alex Ferguson showed me trust and gave me time to come back."

"I never made unrealistic targets for myself. We have 25 great players at United, so there was no need to rush it.

"I really want to come back better than ever when it goes bad. I want to prove that I can be better.

"Everyone must handle things going against them, it's then you get to see what people are made of.

"I want to play an important role for United this season. It's up for me to get in good shape. If I play well, I also play many games. I like that all is up to me."

Season before last he was superb, and that was out of position, he's one of the best finishers in the game, even better that Ruud IMO , if he stays free of injury he'll play a major part for us again this year especially with Ronaldo playing at the olympics for portugal.

lol when asked about new signing Smith, Ole said

"I'd rather have him playing with us than against us"

Says it all really. I know alot people who are still not sure bout Smith and are adamant that they dont wanna see rooney at OT, well I'm happy about Smith, I've seen him a few times and knowing how well so called problem players respond to Fergie he could prove to be a good buy, well feck me he cant any worse than forlan.

As for rooney, its certain that the club hasnt made any sort of aproach for the kid and that him staying at goodison another year and improving would have been the platform for him to move to OT, the fact that either he or his people are instigating a move away even though a great deal has been offered to him, could backfire.

hahaha, Perez is doing what he did last year?? saying how if he gets elected he will bring Rooney to Madrid...wahahaha, waste...waste!!

but i feel that OLE MUST STAY!! i really love the guy...even in WE, i use him off the bench and the power he gives the team...and what i do is quite funny...

since Ronaldo in this game's stamina is so low...so once at the 60 something minute (if we are losing or Ronaldo ain't doing well) then i will switch Ronaldo for Solskjaer and a new formation which is close to a 4-3-3 with Ruud in the middle, and Saha on the left (or Giggs, depends on how the line up is...) and this is what it looks like: (quite ugly and bad, but once i was losing 3-1 in the 60th minute...Ole came on with a hat-trick and won 4-3!!!

*defense as normal
--------------Keane-------------
---Scholes----------------------
--------------------------Giggs-
Ole---------------------------
----------------------Saha---
-------V.Nistelrooy----------

but Giggs is more back...Ole is more front...u know...

you got that right. lol I always end up buying Ole he's won me alot of games aswell.

Perez again had the nerve to say he could get Ruud even after ruud said he's rather retire than join Real. I really hope we get to play Real again this season, we owe them a beating, plus carlos V ronaldo would be a decent battle

did anyone see forlans goal for uruguay

what a strike

Cracking strike that one mind. Unbelievable from Forlan, although didnt he miss a few sitters against Mexico?

Whats gonna be your first choice partnership then? Ruud and Saha?

I think so Boro, unless we buy Rooney.
Forlans goal last night was great. He's shown glimpses of that at Old Trafford but it hasn't been as often as we'd have hoped. I still think he's better than what people make out, he just isn't good enough for United and can't be relied upon as someone like Ruud.

yea i think that sums up forlan fairly
i find it strange that he does score pretty impressive goals (albeit not enough) but when giving an simple chance he regularly misses!?
personally i like the guy he has a lot of character but with us now having Ruud, Ole, Smithy, Saha (and possibly Rooney-who knows?) his time at OT may be over

My first choice strikers would be Ruud + Saha, they did great last season whenever they played together. But if Ole made a recovery I prefer him up there with Ruud. That would be class.

Just thought you guys might like to know that Heinze put out a good display yesterday against Mexico.
The only cross he made was pretty bad though.

Yeah. There seem to popping up way too often. I kinda worries me now. But has recently signed a new contract so he most likely wont leave.

I ave to say iwatched the last two argie games just to see what HEINZE was like.Although some of the opposition was not the best he looked very solid. As for a strike force it has to be Rudd and Saha.I cant remember ever having a front man with the pace of Saha

I don't like the look of these Real Madrid - Ruud links again. :l

this might not mean alot but -

Remember after one of the Holland games at euro 2004, in an interview after one of the games, Ruud said something like he cant wait to play next season. Then the interviewer said where will this be at, Ruud replied Old Trafford, definatly

So....

Andy Cole?

Andy Cole had more pace than Saha too.

I agree Cole was as speedy as Saha, but Cole is rather lightweighted he is sort of a moaner and dosent work hard enuff,he is like a fox-in-a-box type of striker.Saha has strength, speed, both footed and superb with his head and he can create too......Saha and Ruud is my deadly duo, upfront for United next season.

Cole was a bit like Forlan. He'd be great for half a season but then he'd play really crap for some stange reason. It was like we had 2 players.

Saha is obviously the better player. I'm just pointing out that Cole was one of our fastest strikers ever.
