yes i agree the difference between Europa league and Champions league is big difrenece in decision of the players to move here or to Tottenham or City for example..
For LFC this and next season it is a big fight to get to the top 4 again instead of other teams, most likly Tottenham, Chelsea or City.. United and Arsenal will be fighting for the title again next season..also City and Chelsea..
it´s very though but the main thing is to build a team capable of winning away matches most of all... we are capable of winning or being motivated against Chelsea or United.. often we can beat big teams of Premier league and are weak against the small teams..
but this season we can be happy to fight for Europa league..after Hodgson...
We should be OK, but lot´s of fans don´t know what to expect from the owners, Comolli and Kenny in summer.. Carroll and Suarez - on this two we spended Torres money so the new owners basicly haven´t spended a single penny yet...maybe two milion pounds net spend so far... we will see.
I think Dzsudzsak and Ricky van wolfswinkel are a lot more likely.
I know all about the Liverpool name and history and tradition etc. But like I said, personally, get in Europe or not (We're talking about a possible Europa league place after all), I don't see Hazard or Sanchez coming to Anfield. I really do doubt it. But who really knows.... we'll just have to wait and see I guess....
The good news is as you said, that the club are looking at players of this bracket and after them and so even if not these two, some other good young ones will be coming soon and that means the future is indeed bright.

If Liverpool will not play in the CL (which is highly improbable) Hazard will certainly not come.
Hell, there is a big chance that he can play with Lille in the CL and that in a new stadium...Liverpool is a big club, but next season Hazard is better off with other clubs. It would surprise me if he would play for Liverpool next season (but i would like it, Liverpool would be a good club for him, better than Arsenal IMO).

Are you sure about that? I remember reading about a rule change meaning losing finalists won't automatically get the euro qualification spot if the winner in in CL/Euro position and that it goes to the next highest in the league.
So unless you win the cup, you get nothing. Although I'm not sure 6th offers anything anyway.
I think the only way is if you can prove to the player that the club is going to have the same development as Arsenal, so a lot of games for youngsters whilst challenging for CL places. At the others, especially Inter and Real, there seems very little point of youngsters playing there. Utd is a mix, they will get games but normally the squad is good enough to cope. At Liverpool they can make the position their own. Besides the name, which can mean nothing depending on the individual player, it would come down to wages, team and player development. You would hope they have some intelligence and can recognise that being a regular starter or sub at a CL challenging team is better for them then rotting in the stands at a CL club.

That's funny cause I bought him from Utrecht while playing a AZ Alkmaar CM.
I don't think anyone is joining clubs on account of name alone right now. Look at city, and Real, they have players people have forgotten about completely. Or at least I have.

yes, but this top teams can´t buy all players in the world..top young players need to PLAY not sit on bench.. for the good of their career and national team.. players can think about if they move to fancy club - they mostly sit on bench becouse the competition is big.. instead in Liverpool the competition now is non existing imo.. So any quality players will automaticaly if they can continue giving performance - would have the starting spot.. most of all wingers and LB..

Surely that could only be City? No one else is that mental/ taking the piss/ ruining it for everyone else.

Mancini would love to get his hands on him and has admitted that but Man Utd and Sir Alex are huge fans and been tracking him. There was rumoured to be serious interest from them and an offer tabled just a month ago. Might be your club.
Though 50 million is probably Zamparini talking crap as usual.
In any case, he's one of the very very few in the world, you could pay that much for and actually still be doing good business most likely but that's off-topic now as I don't think Liverpool are the club.

We currently have two very good players compeeting for right back with Kelly and Johnson... i highly doubt we would buy Ramos and play him instead of the two mentioned or as CB..

Zamparini is talking rubbish I bet but I am getting excited at the prospect of us chasing Pastore!
Hazard and Sanchez also aren't the type of Wingers Liverpool need (Well maybe 1) but rather someone to get a lot of crosses in for someone like Carroll. I think Young is a great option for you lot.

Not just his crossing, he also offers a threat with his shooting and goalscoring abilities as well as dribbling. Something we've missed for a LONG, LONG time.

definetly, we need to upgrade the wingers especialy for carroll to get crosses and also someone who can deliver great corners etc..this is the major thing we need to look at...Carroll can score goals from corners..just needs top delivery..

I think Meireles is pretty good at corners, far better than Gerrard, and I'd be happy with him taking them permanently.

Yeah Ashley Young is a great shout!
Not only will he improve the team considerably and give Liverpool something they need, he'll also need far less 'adjustment/adaptability' time than other foreign imports. Not to mention, he's simply a much more realistic target and one we can actually see end up in Liverpool.
I say go for him! Test Villa's resolve. Should be a very good capture for L'pool and I'm all for it.
And yeah I prefer Meireles taking CK's than Gerrard as well.

Ashley you could probably get for about 20 million. Maybe even as little as 15 or 16 which is a bargain in my opinion.
Alexis on the other hand is gonna cost a fortune whoever does get him. 25Million or up I think. Maybe even something crazy like 30-35 million. We'll see though...

As good as Carroll is in the air, I'm already SO sick of seeing constant hopeful punts up front. Our earlier style of play under Kenny has disappeared completely and we're back to thinking Crouch is back and if you can't be arsed looking for a short pass, just hit and hope.
Very annoying.

well the match so far just as i expected...basicly the same as we played agains Sparta + we have to score goals and Braga not. So far we only attack and 10 Braga players are defending... Carroll is isolated, with ZERO help from our midfield..especialy Cole, Kuyt and Maxi... only player who i would say is bothered is Skrtel and Lucas with Meireles... rest look realy bad.
The hoofs are killing me...

On a brighter note, as I've just saw, at the start of the season we had Hicks & Gillette in charge, Hodgson as manager and Purslow still running the transfer side of things.
We're still in transition and this season was never going to be anything but a write-off anyway, especially after the start we had.
As I keep saying, time to look forward to the summer now and rebuild. Win as many games as we can until then but we need some players who can make a difference.
On a brighter note, as I've just saw, at the start of the season we had Hicks & Gillette in charge, Hodgson as manager and Purslow still running the transfer side of things.

we have players that should be fighting, nevermind the things, this is like another competition, a competition that has nothing to do with Premier League..
this players get paid milions but they do shit about that...
Before the rebuilding we should have problems to keep Reina.
