Mock all you like, I work for a secondary accounts company that looks over City's books (and others). I know the basics about our tunrover etc.

Besides, are you wanting me to say yeah, despite running lots of multi-national companies, maintaing ridiculous levels of profit, Sheikh Mansour and his team know nothing and are going to run City in such a way that we're hindered from competing in the best competitions? Laughable.

I am not into baseball or any American sport....but from what I read
about NESV ....their track record with the Red Sox is very good...
They got them the world series after 86 years...player investment..
they redeveloped the stadium......

They do not have the negative track record of Hicks with Corinthians...
I read somewhere...that Hicks made a mess of Texas Rangers also....

But NESV seems more passionate about sports.....
In a way I am happy that we did not get a rich Sheikh or Abramovich II
because we need to be sensible in this economy....what you see at
Chelsea, City will not last forever...

I would prefer that they add capacity to Anfield...that will help
us remain at our traditional home...and also increase capacity..
similar to what Old Trafford....
After all a new stadium will always never have the same history.
Plus we get to channel more funds into buying better players.....

We still need to replace Hodgson....he should not be given past
Christmas....did you hear Poulsen saying we are in a crisis....thanks
you and Hodgson are responsible in a big way...

Oh dear, Tom Hicks is still saying he's sacked Purslow and Ayre and that the new board do not approve of the sale. Broughton has replied saying he can't do that, Hicks replied saying that's what laws and courts are for.

I really wish Hicks would just piss off and never show his slimey face anywhere again.

How does an owner drive a perfectly good baseball team in one of the largest markets in the United States into bankruptcy? Ask Tom Hicks. The Texas Rangers had a beautiful ballpark and a solid fan base when Hicks bought the team in 1998. The Rangers were a competitive ball club that started regularly making the playoffs in the 90’s. a high % of Brits hate Americans tbh...I can`t believe Neil Diamond `s Boston Red Sox are making a bid. Bad enough they live in the shadows of every New Yorker . Then, again it beats anything from a Texas Rangers that is a backward state imo . If you lots want to be excited by a baseball franchise it would be the New York Yanks they have the bullocks to back it up. They are the MUTD of Baseball .

I would of thought an NFL owner would be more interested than baseball co. What`s wrong with the way Arsenal runs a football club , NO OWNERS! Why does everyone think a sugar daddy is the solution.

The crux here is the line "We have reported revenues..." Reported. The club needn't make public certain elements, such as exactities of sponsorship periods/payments etc. You'll have to take my word for it that the sponsorship is some of the most lucrative I've ever seen, certainly the highest in the league apart from Chelsea's.

Again, I point back to my point about the Sheikh knowing what he's doing. Alright, this year we made a loss (less drastic than made out, but a loss all the same.) but this loss can and will result in increased revenue/turnover for years long into the future.

Well, as we all, I was furious against these Yank TW*TS and I wanted SO bad to leave!
The problem is, "Yanks out... Yanks in"!
I'm NOT really happy (that much) for the choice. Of course, the YANKS would choose... Yanks! So...? But I wanted Al Kharifi's arab billioner family to take over.
(Sorry, but I don't trust much the Yanks, in general. They believe in one "God",... money, their OWN money - profit!)

The REAL one who NO-ONE BLAMES, the REAL one who needs from us to burn his house... is MOORES!!!!! That's the MAJOR bastard!!! He refused the arab bit in 2006, just to choose these two american "mafias", for HIS OWN BANK ACCOUNT larger number!

Anyways, we'll see what happens... At least, these two b*stards left!

that's ignorant and dangerous attitude to have andrew.

not all Americans are cunts, look at their past histories and look at it objectively rather than instantly hating them simply because they come from the same country.

I really don't know why anyone would prefer an Arab over anyone else, especially with all the controversy over working conditions/slaves in that whole area, they're not exactly honest businessmen either.

Now the players and the manager have no more excuses....hopefully.
With new owners and no debt....we should strengthen the team..

But.... I hope we get a new manager..
I cannot watch Hodgson with his ridiculous tactics...
and spending money on lousy players....

We have sold Alonso, Mascherano, Crouch, Benayoun, Riera, Aquilani (on the way)

and spent 20 million on Poulsen, Meireles, Konchesky, Cole (90k a week)
and they all look underwhelming...except Meireles.

I fear what he will spend with more money available...
we need to have a better manager

I totally agree about the need of finding a new manager. We could have another striker if it wasnt for Hodgson stupid decisions. Those 13 millons he spent in Meireles, should have been spent in a striker.

Meireles is the only good signing.

Poulsen, Konchesky was 10 million wasted....

Aurelio, Cole are also useless signings....

Why on earth we did not go for another good striker ?

And why did we not get a decent winger ?

As Tomkins said in one of his last articles, we could have a player with more creativity than Meireles and more used to the role in which Hodgson is playing Meireles and a striker. How ? Very simple, we kept Aquilani and invested those 13 millions in a striker.

Well, his best position would be in the central midfield with Lucas or Gerrard. If he plays with Lucas, then Gerrard in the hole, Jovanovic on the left wing and Kuyt on the right. If he plays with Gerrard, then Cole on the hole.
The problem with Cole is that he has showed very clear that the only position he is going to play is the hole. When he was played on the left wing, he tended to go to the central part of the pitch all the time. And when he was played on the hole, he wasnt that good.

Cole is a waste.....no wonder other clubs were not queueing up....

Meireles should be given some time in the middle and he does seem promising.... yeah Aquilani would be better...but for his injury record.

Aquilani's not even playing in Italy though, he's made 4 appearances so far and done pretty much nothing (according to his stats: 2 starts, 2 sub appearances, 0 goals, 0 assists, 4 shots, 1 shot on target, 7 fouls) So it's not like we're missing out on much right now, he's not mentally strong enough and he proved that with the sheer amount of time he missed.

You made a snap judgement of Aquilani after just a few appearances for Liverpool and now you're doing the same to Joe Cole but in a negative way this time. Cole has been played in three separate positions so far with different players around him each time, how can he be expected to do anything in that situation? Give him a chance ffs

The Yankees are closer to Chelsea/City in my opinion. Yes they have won a lot, but the team has always had money. Especially when Steinbrenner was there, they basically bought anyone that was great the previous year(s).

Also, I hate baseball.

Naah, I didnt make a snap judgment of Aquilani. Ive seen him play for a lot of seasons, not just last one. I like Serie A, and I have always watched it.
About Juventus, he isnt playing how Rafa played him. He is playing as a central midfielder, he should play in an advanced role to take the best out of him.
About Cole, Im judging his attitude and not the way he is playing. If your manager tells you to play on a wing, you play on a wing, you dont go central every fucking play because then Meireles has no room and no teamate on the left.
