He clearly wants to stay and is going to press in order to do it. I hope he stays, a mate of mine is friend with his family and he told he is very nice lad. This is his real facebook if someone wants to leave him a message. He leaves messages in both spanish and english.

I have been impressed with Joe Cole's attitude.... he just seems desperate
to play for Liverpool....glad for him....hope it works out well for us.

Riera's a good player. When in the mood, extremely dangerous! Unfortunately EPL viewers and Liverpool fans never really got to see him at his best. Just a few glimpses of his talent here and there... luckily Jovanovic is also a good player and quite effective and hopefully we all will get to witness that.

In regards to Insua, perhaps he's now realized, he has a much better chance of 1st team football at Liverpool than in Florence and is having doubts about moving...

Torres stays....at least according to Hodgson.

So good news then....

Hopefully we can sell Mascherano soon....and

get 3-4 more players....

And we will be all set !!

i see him as squad player, good replacement for Degen..and english to.. nice transfer if it happens, but we need new LB or Insua stay.. i prefeur the second.

Or maybe Serie A wages are under control and over here they are not and Insua doesn't want a huge paycut?!

"We have an agreement with the English club, but we have to find an understanding with the player in terms of wages, we cannot guarantee him the figures that he gets at Liverpool."

Would love to see Accidrenthe at 'Pool. Him and Johnson as first choice full backs would be hilarious.

Luke Young is a solid signing though. Much more dependable at full back than anyone you've already got.

Funny but exciting too! :D

Both of them boming forward, overlapping at every chance like Cafu/Roberto Carlos kinda Brazilian way of full-backs helping create chances and leaving the team exposed at the back and very vulnerable in counter-attacks. :P Hodgson is too smart and solid for that though. Won't play like that 'unfortunately' :P

Yeah that's true of course.

If I were him, I'd have second thoughts about it too... I mean I'm gonna get less $$$ and sit on the bench more often due to much tougher competition for 1st team. Beautiful city and probably has its fair share of cute girls as well :P but is it worth it... ? Probably not, I'd stay at L'pool

Aurelio has re-joined us on a 2-year Pay-As-You-Play contract, I'm pleased with that :)

Agreed. He would be facing competition from Pasqual and Vargas, but these days Vargas plays as a left winger. Gobbi just left on a free, so if Insua did join, he COULD overtake Pasqual if he performs.

Insua's move is in real doubt due to wage problems, he's included in our squad for the match in Germany tomorrow.

Today started the Premier Fantasy League. I ve just made my team and created a league, if someone is interested. The name is "Liverpool Liverbird".if anyone is interested.
