Liverpool Thread

Re: Liverpool Thread

Great finish fron N'goal, and if he continues his excellent strike rate for us, he shall be called N'Goal for the foreseeable future.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Re: Liverpool Thread

Rafael Benitez's struggle to keep pace with the Premier League elite is revealed in documents which suggest Liverpool's net summer spending will be locked at £20m until 2014 – a figure which will also include wage increases accruing from contract renewals. The figures, which suggest the manager must continue to sell before he can buy, are contained in a prospectus published in March by investment banks Rothschild and Merrill Lynch to attract potential investors in the club.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Apparently Masch got cleared of his, erm, move against Leeds. Between Bellamy/Neville/Masch The FA seem to be in a forgiving mood this season!

I can't tell if that 15 minute clip is funny or not. How much do some of those actors look the real players though? (are they?!)

Re: Liverpool Thread

Boring Liverpool, far too defensive, no creativity, missing Alonso this season so much.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Rafa out, we are so defensive. Even Spurs got five today, we should have got 9.

To be fair Hull were shiite.

Torres using his left foot more today, wish he do it more often, as its obviously not that bad. His first was mesmerising simplicity

The man in my avatar had an awesome game. First call up for senior Argie bargy squad this week :)

Re: Liverpool Thread

Torres finally back to himself again it seems?

Looks like! :D

You could see in the West Ham game that he'd found his usual form/self and his confidence looked miles higher with him trying tricks and taking people on with more confidence.

He carried that on in todays match and looked world class again.

Welcome back, Nando :APPLAUD:

That's a load of bollocks, the pics are down but i'm assuming it's the same thing i saw with the projections for the next few years, which also has us renewing the Carlsberg deal at £7m per year.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Torres is simply awesome. Damn him for not wanting to leave Spain when United tried to sign him. Then again, if Rooney and he played in week in/out, the league would have been even easier the past few years!

Re: Liverpool Thread

Great win.

How good has Lucas been, past few weeks? Playing every game, and really shut up everyone who doubted him. I think he needs to score a goal, to get his confidence up, and he'll score even more, because he regularly gets into those types of positions.

Babel's goal was class.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Yeh Lucas had another solid game, unlucky not to score. He's actually a very good tackler, clumsy sometimes but he knows how to read the game and can cut out moves and quick passes.

Babel's flick throuhg the legs and then the timing of his run, just staying onside. Something different about him in his last three appearances, he's actually trying, working hard, getting into those positions, looks like Rafa has had a good chat with the lad.

Amazing stat:

Torres: 33 goals in 34 appearances at Anfield

Something silly like 58 in 70 all in all
