i havent seen that much of higuain to be honest but alonso is one of your best players and helps form the spine of your team.
skrtl's okay, so is reina and aurelio. carragher i think is overrated but hes okay as well. your team just isnt used to throwing everything at the opposition, most of the time those players have a couple defensive mids protecting them.

entertainment wise its been pretty damn good lol how often are there 4-4 draws in the title race especially at this point in the season?Best ever end to a season for you lot, yes. We've had better.

And we have good players on Xabi position, Gerrard, Lucas, Mascherano. What we dont have are forwards. We only have one (which is the best of the world, in my opinion) and we need another one so that they can play together.
Alonso is one of the best players in the world, but Real Madrid wants him and we should take advantage of this situation. What had we won whit having only Torres ? Nothing, out of the Carling, out of the Fa Cup with Everton, out of the Champions and out of the Premier.

Maybe not between the big teams so I guess its big deal in that sense.
To be honest, I have been surprised with the amount of goals Liverpool have been scoring. But lets not cover up the fact that they've now conceeded 8 goals in their last 2 games. Thats quite shocking for a team thats aiming as high as they are.

whos going to pass higuian the ball? mascherano? you're not making a very good argument.
i jsut think its more exciting, usually it'd be a tight sort of boring game (other than whats on the line) with 1 or 2 goals in it.
real want everybody, they'll say whatever the fans want to hear.

So are we going to return the World Club Championship?
I think the key to our run in is most of them our at OT. I think the Boro and Arsenal games are the only tricky ones.
Liverpool probably only have the West Ham game as any potential game where they might find it tough but otherwise they'll win the rest.
My only worry is that Goal Difference, Hopefully Pompey/Spurs can ship some goals

Gutted, WTF are they thinking? Mistakes like that at this point of the season? Now they REALLY have a mountain too high to climb. Damnit.
To be fair, it was Liverpool's Full Team while it was Arsenal's reserves mostly, so it should be in the bag really.

Might heart can't take a whole season of every game being so important.
And lets face it, if you're still in with a shout, then everygame in the league has been massive and will continue to be so.

The Chelsea game wasn't your usual game though and we had to attack right from the start with the need to score three goals during 90 mins. In any other match you wouldn't need to attack as much and could concentrate on defending but we had to throw caution to the wind to an extent, we needed those goals.

Terrible result really. How many chances did Arsenal create that wasnt a defensive cock-up? The 4th from a corner, which wouldnt even have happend had we not needed to attack so much. Should have easily won this. A 4-0 wouldnt even have flattered us. Hopefully that will be the last mistakes from all thos eplayers for the rest of the season. You could tell that they are full of confidence by the time they were taking and always looking to pass to a teammate, but really they should know better and just clear it. It's not like arsenal were doing much without our help.

Obviously we haven't won the league (yet?) but has Rafa now got the league cracked? Everyone slated him for being able to win in cups but how he can't maintain any kind of league challenge, yet here we are with five games left and we're putting in a pretty good fight.
Time to say we now have a manager who CAN win us leagues and maintain challenges then?

I'm still not sure, for the mid part of the league we were still to cautious and flat. Maybe due to the lead in the league and a lack of cutting edge. When we got to the "nothing to lose" part we have started playing more attacking and are looking a lot better.
Although It looks like we are playing less tactical this season which is allowing the better players to make a difference. Its just that we still need better players on the wing, back up for Torres to sustain it. If we do win our remaining fixtures we'll have 86 points which is the highest ever for Liverpool. Defensively (disregarding the last match) we are one of the best and one of the toughest teams to beat in the league, its just getting an extra player in that can win a match 1-0. Out of the two games they lost this season only the Boro match was "deserved". It was pretty equal really and they should have easily finished spurs off. Its all those bloody draws again, which is mostly down to not being able to get through an 11 man defense.

Wenger has won it three times mate, I think his credentials stand up. We were 4 points away last season, I think that was a title challenge!!

You missed my point completely. Nobody can doubt Wengers credentials but Arsenal don't maintain title challenges so you can't say that if a manager doesn't do it numerous times then they aren't capable of winning it?

And you missed our point. as well as winning it 3 times, he has challenged for the title a lot of times. his only not challenged for the title for 2-3 season yet he has challenged and won it during over 10 years of managing arsenal.
