Good win, you know if Gerrard & Co can give great passes like those to Keane, he'll definitely score much much more. Such a clinical finisher :)

this is one of the main reasons i'm enjoying this season so much, the mancs and evertonian's attempts at having a go at us for being top of the league, it's hilarious. They're so bitter. We're not celebrating fuck all yet lad, but we are happy to be where we are, and there's no reason we shouldn't be.

Oh, and which one is "your" trophy? Last i checked you don't own a European Cup, you are current holders but you haven't won it enough times to keep one, unlike us. In fact, the trophy at Anfield is the one you lot famously robbed against Bayern Munich, if you'd like to visit it, go to liverpoolfc.tv and book a stadium tour.

Its funny how there's like 5 liverpool fans in here having a laugh over one United fan. I guess you gotta make the most of times like this cuz they don't come often for you.
If you're still in this position come February then you're in for a real chance. Even Arsenal have had great runs in the league, only to screw it up near the end. And where are they right now?

What do you expect us to act like? Be all doom and gloom because we're top? Not have any hope or optimism? Do you expect us to be miserable about our league position?

As you say, we're not used to being top at Christmas, we're hardly going to sit there crying about it :ROLL: I'm pretty sure if any other team was in our position and wasn't used to it, they'd be pretty excited too so I don't know why you're trying to make out that it's just because we're Liverpool fans. If Villa were top, they'd be the same. Would you have a go at them and tell them to stop being so happy about it?

Or is it just because it's Liverpool that are top and you don't like it? I tend to think that's the reason. Any other team than us and Man City and I doubt you'd be getting your knickers in a twist so much and acting slightly bitter.

Can't United fans just be pleased for us? You'll end up winning the league anyway so we're just enjoying being here while we can ;)

Indeed Abhi. The commentators made a point about people thinking Torres and Keane could be the ones to make us serious contenders yet we've gone through most of the season without being able to play both of them as a partnership yet.

February will shape your season, I said that a while ago. If im honest you lot best hope for a early exit in the CL and for us to go further otherwise theres no way we'll let 18 slip and thus knock you lot of your fecking perch :DD

You guys seem to be forgetting that for the past few seasons Liverpool have equaled, if not bettered, the secondhalf season results of the champions. Offcourse chasing with no hope and being top is very different but fitness and form wise we have a good chance.

Oh and a nice detail,

This season will be the 19th since we last won the league. Offcourse if we manage to win it it will be the 19th league win :D

Sounds like the usual to me, lads having fun with some t@$$er having a drunken go at him/the group.

Not defending Gerrard at all btw, players should know better by now to not go out to clubs. It's always the same story.
