Liverpool Thread

Re: Liverpool Thread

OK all man utd fans and talk, kindly fuck off to the closest exit signs thank you...

Must win game on Sunday - if Torres is back we have a chance, but he may be lacking a lot of match fitness :(

Re: Liverpool Thread

Arsenal will win...Its just inevitable for them to beat the other top 3 and but lose and draw to the others.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Your top of the league, Im sure you need to have some consistency for that. While Arsenal only turn up for the big occasions it seems.

Re: Liverpool Thread

The truth? What are you, his agent? How do you know he wants to leave ATM? I saw him getting interviewed after the Osaka game and he said he was happy atm. Slave is not about the payment? You think Ronaldo is being treated like a slave? You must be retarded then, I can imagine the black African people who were subject to slavery in the past turning in their grave after hearing your BS. He gets paid around about £100,000 a week to kick a ball, he has something known as a CONTRACT with Manchester United. Ever heard of it? Do you think Ferguson will actually get bullied by Real Madrid to sell his BEST player, one of the BEST footballers in the world? If he does sell him, which he probably will sometime in the future, he'll choose the right time to sell him. You must be a 10 year old judging by your ridiculous spelling and your lack of any common sense or logic...

:APPLAUD: why so serious? :SNACK:

Re: Liverpool Thread

I'd have taken a point before the game but now I feel disappointed that we couldn't finish them off (again) and it's two points lost I'm afraid :(

Re: Liverpool Thread

Dont think So.

Blacburn away was a win, PSV away was a win.

Decent enough result, but Arsenal were there for the taking. I don't think rafa made the right sub choices, and we were very negative after the sending off.

Insua deserves a run at LB now! I've always sung his praises, great to see him come into a game like this and stand out from everyone else.

Yes, although he was understandably nervous, there were none of the cringing errors that Dossena usually makes letting players get in a cross/ get behind him. Was quite impressed.

Good entertaining game, disappointed we didn't finish them off, two great goals.

Btw, what was Adebayor moaning about - he obviously doesn't remember the leg over the top of the ball and elbow to the throat then?

Edit:Babel was poor when he came on, couldn't trap a bag of cement - Ngog and El Zhar need time but look decent prospects.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Amusing to see the arse players/managers callign murder.....Wenger saying Keane should have been sent off for winning the ball, Ade having ago after two studs up tackles. It's pentulance like that which cost them last season and might cost them CL qualification this season.

Re: Liverpool Thread

As soon as I saw the red for Adebayor, I txted my friends saying we will fuck up.

And I was right. Terrible tactics and formation. 10 men for 30 mins and we looked WORSE for it.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Absolutely shell shocked by the 2nd half performance for Liversh*t, no guts, no flair, nothing whatsoever. Gerrard is sissy and a diver (yes I've finally said that), Lucas isn't taking his chances, Alonso played okay, Kuyt again .. he's now "i'm not a striker, not yet a winger". Gutted to see we're potential champions .. we're not playing anywhere near one.

Yep. Most unconvincing potential champions I've seen in a while.

Re: Liverpool Thread

tbf I dont see any at the moment (champion potential) only Villa is playing w/ so much energy. I see pool, chels and Manutd dropping points it`s been a strange year. Last season Arsenal was blazing then to fall ,but chels and utd were fighting for dear life(getting results). And at this point I don`t see the same utd and chels as last season. So it`s still feasible

Re: Liverpool Thread

pfft thats your fault, its not our away kit! Your stupid white shorts meant we had to go with red shorts ;)

Can't wait to get Torres back. We should keep playing Keane, he will come good, and even if he doesn't score, like Wenger said today, he is intelligent and makes things happen.

Is Aurelio injured and when is he back? He would still be my first choice at LB, but Insua has played himself into contention.

Whilst I think Dossena needs time and patience awarded to him, we can't afford individual mistakes in defence.

Same old scousers, always got those rose tinted specs on. If that was a 2nd booking then games would be finishing 5 a side! Adebayor was shielding the ball, he caught Arbeloa in the throat yes, but unintentionally. Remember there has to be intent for it to be a foul. Try reading the rules of the game.

Re: Liverpool Thread

I thought the yellow was for the tackle into the shin and over the ball? Not the elbow?

Anyway ...

TOP OF THE LEAGUE AT CHRISTMAS!

And AFC Liverpool are also top of the league for Christmas as well! Great Christmas for me :D

Thats the whole point Dags, it wasn't a tackle and there was NO contact with his shin.

Anyway, well done on being top at Christmas....enjoy it...:PIG:

Re: Liverpool Thread

I can't rememeber it to be honest, I can't really offer any more comments on it :(

Hmm, shielding ball with legs and elbow? Riiiiiiiigggghht...:P
To be honest though, I thought we had more chance of beating you if he had stayed on - as you were playing far too high up the field, and once he went off, your defence fell deeper and left one up, so in the end it really doesn't matter- I got more joy out of John Terry being sent off (about time) at Everton.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Only clubs with delusions of grandeur do such a thing Vanizzle (see Everton), not clubs that have won 5 of those lovely things displayed in your avatar.

well Dags seemed pretty giddy at being top of the league at xmas...

as do alot of lfc fans ive spoken to...

not very "big-time" for a club that has won "Our" Trophy...

but these are the times I s'pose...

Carra in the papers yesterday said last time lfc won it, he supported everton..

says it all!
