Don't know if I'm supposed to be excited or worried about having Ngog and Kelly start. Well, at least we have a couple of youngsters that the manager trusts.

Man this one should be interesting! 2 great teams having their own set of troubles.

Both coming off weekend losses in domestic league to teams they aren't 'expected' to lose to. Both having injury problems.

Lyon having serious problems in center of defence so Toulalan (one of the world's very best in his natural DMF position) gonna be playing CB apparently. The guy is absolute class but it'll be interesting to see how he fairs in the middle of defense! I guess he can at least look forward to the fact that he's not gonna be marking El Nino!! lol
Bastos will be on bench and even guys like Lopez and Govou who are starting aren't 100% and carrying knocks.

Liverpool, well, they're having their own problems and injury worries as well.
I'm looking forward to this! Hope the game lives up to the hype!

I'm fucking sick of us not being able to defend corners at all, or take them for that matter. We've been shit at set pieces for years, why hasn't it been sorted yet?! :CURSE:

Gerrards shit at em', Alonso floated em in... but he was crap too. Aurellio is the best but still no real accuracy!

McAlistair was my favourite set piece taker for us, random i know but he was class

Un-fucking-believable.

Just knew that was going to happen. At 1-1, we need a goal. What should we do? Yep, take off the player who's most likely to create (and possibly most likely to score) a goal.

And then, as usual this season, our defence goes to fucking pot and we completely lose track of anyone lurking near the penalty area.

Four defeats on the run. What the hell is going on here?

Only bright note from that game is Kelly was superb, hat off to him.

Kelly was good. Credit to the lad, not an easy debut.

I know it sounds stupid but dont be too disheartened, 4 defeats in a row is shocking for Liverpool but Lyon are a really good side, although like you say Dags, Rafa's substitutions were baffling.

Can see you tonking us on Sunday now. No way you'll lose 5 on the bounce.

Gerrard has probably buggered his groin for months now.

Kin injuries.

Johnson, Gerrard, Torres, Aquilani, Kryiakos, Reira. Thats half a squad right there.

We wouldn't complain if you offered your opinions on your team in our thread, considering the fact we're playing each other at the weekend.

Maybe we're taking over a little, but still.

Are Gerrard and Torres out for the weekend then?

Looking at this page, how many posts are from Liverpool fans? Out of 21 posts, 13 are from non-Liverpool fans, with more Utd fans posting in here than Liverpool fans as well.

And posts from Utd fans talking about Owen don't really belong here either.

I dont know why you need to comment on Liverpool so much, I dont really think theres anyone more critical of us than the fans right now anyway.

See what happens on Sunday though, will be interesting. I dont think we should boo owen, just greet that twat with silence. simples

No idea, Jonney. Injuries certainly aren't helping but the team is still capable of drawing the game, nevermind winning.

I don't think Rafa has lost the dressing room, I just think we're stuck in a confidence rut and we need to get out.

We need to nick a win by a scrappy goal, a set-piece, Gerrard starfish, whatever. Once that happens, we'll get back to winning. Starting this Sunday would be nice :)
