I like it myself, not fond of the gold numbers which will be on the back though.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Intersting that you really haven't moved that far forward from 05/06 when you reached 82 points. if you win your remaining 2 you'll only have 4 more points than that season, so basically 4 more points in 3 seasons.

Re: Liverpool Thread

:LMAO: Ridiculous comment to make, also quite ignorant and disrespectful too I should add.

See Abhi's post for reasons why. And the draws we had we really should've won whereas in 05/06 we weren't dominating teams like we have this season.

Interesting to see Utd fans looking into our history in order to try and put us down though, seems we're getting to Utd fans a fair bit lately ;)

Re: Liverpool Thread

My dad figures Rafa is a racist.

Not a single black player in the starting lineup against West Ham, barely gives Babel a chance to play regularly and maybe my dad just wanted to add that being a Spaniard = he's a racist.

Sounds rediculous, but you never know.

Re: Liverpool Thread

:LMAO:

Does he know that N'gog and El Zhar play regularly? Nothing to do with Babel not actually being much good when he's played?

Quality.

Re: Liverpool Thread

To be fair, they don't play regularly, but this is the same man who reckons Dirk Kuyt has pictures of Rafa in a brothel in Amsterdam and that's why he gets picked all the time.

He's probably the worst Liverpool fan going :P

Re: Liverpool Thread

I'm sure there are lots of teams who don't have black players playing regularly either, absoloutely crazy comment

If you look back, we played Sissoko an awful lot and we've had Pennant. Yep, they've been sold but that's because they lost their form completely (Momo) or not actually any good (Pennant).

Still, it's made me laugh today, especially after it following YG's post :D

Woah, woah guys, let's not turn this forum into RAWK with crazy conspiracy theories and massive delusionary. :R1

It's his dad, leave it alone. Old people's comments don't belong here.

YG: I don't really get what you're on mate, if you're here just to piss us off what we have achieved this season, f*ck off. I'm quite happy on how we progressed this season, nothing can change that. Too bad the stats didn't show it but stats doesn't always show the whole story.

Let's hope the rest of you 'relieved' MU fans come here and try to pick a fight with us when all is ALMOST done and dusted. We're ready any time.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Your big problem is still not putting away the smaller teams. Take away all the big 4 results against each other that you did best in and you're way behind against the rest. Maybe it's a motivation thing. Sort that out and you'll be champions.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Our mentality has changed since those draws though. I feel if we played those smaller teams where we drew nowadays, we'd put goals passed them comfortably.

Re: Liverpool Thread

It's changed because you let the lead slip and are playing catch up. When you were in front was when you were drawing.

Re: Liverpool Thread

It started from the Madrid game and I think the momentum has carried us from there. We know now that we can beat teams and we've found ways to score whereas we lacked ideas when we were drawing. It wasn't anything to do with defending leads as we were battering the teams, just couldn't put them away.

Agree, wasn't that comfortable being on top of everybody else. We'll manage that next time.

Re: Liverpool Thread

Yep, I wouldn't put it passed Bruce to do something shifty anyway, and those comments from Whelan are hardly anti-United either

Re: Liverpool Thread

Wigan are safe, they don't need anything from the match and realistically aren't likely to get anything except maybe an injury, so I don't expect them to put up much of a challenge tonight.

That and he can effectively give the title to a club he loves ...

Re: Liverpool Thread

:LMAO: Calm down, Im sorry but I think it is a valid point about you (maybe) having 4 more points than that season, You also won the FA Cup that season. Your a better side I never said you aren't but facts don't lie you've been in a similar position before and it hasn't worked out. No need to get so moody.

Im sure RAWK is in meltdown after hearing that from the Wigan Chairman...:))

Rawk may well be...but....what about Wigan fans?

Re: Liverpool Thread

Actually, Hodgson was very far up Utd's arse before the cottage match. Might be trying something similar......Just checked the score: 1-0 at HT :D

Amusing to see the black player comment, could say the same for fergie, Nani, Anderson and Welbeck? don't play much either :D

Re: Liverpool Thread

2 games. Arsenal have beaten us at OT before when we expected to beat them. Last game is Hull who ran us close at home and are fighting for their lives. I'm not celebrating yet.
