does anyone else think that the French league actually needs to do something to stop the title being a foregone conclusion every year?

I mean six consecutive titles is a heck of an achievement, but it can't be good for the competition surely?

You can't to anything about that rapidly. Lyon is winning because of a 15 years development.

But all the other team have a good level. And I'm pretty sure our last teams are better than a lot of the foreign last teams.

We may have only one big team but ther's also a lot of average teams, far from weak. That's what I like about Ligue 1.

Next year, it's going to change. No 7 titles in a row !!!

I think this is very good for the league, because the bigger teams want to go all the way and snatch the tittle from Lyon so it makes it more competitive. At the moment only 4 pts separate 2nd and 6th and it's still anybody's game to win the European tickets.

Great win for OM. Nasri and Ribery's goals were crazy!! Cana really has been superb this season. I hear italian clubs are watching him.

Well it's the same price for Paris-Lyon this week-end for most of the tickets of a "normal" game.

It's not that expensive. But that's maximum I could spend and once in a year :D.

I'm very afraid of St Etienne. Even if we play well against this team, we ALWAYS lose !!!

But we are in a very good situation right now. Couldn't expect that 10 games ago.

Oh my god ,this ref was awful,first during the half time he accepts a shirt from ribery :roll: and after forget to blow his fucking whistle for a fault on Pino...well...

OM was by far the better side and the win was well-deserved ;)
At times it was rather one sided game
I hope we will see OM in Champions League next season, maybe the best football in 2007 in Ligue 1, better than this crap and ugly Bordeaux catenaccio.
But don't forget that you must play at Geoffroy Guichard \\:o/

Lol is this becoming the Marseille fan thread.

They are the team in form though, And I do hope they get into the Champions League, will be a great addition to the competition.


I'm very worried about my boys up in Lille, it's falling away to S**T.

Typically a player Puel let go scores the 2 goals.

It seems Puel has just given up on this season, playing the youngsters since the defeat at home to Le Mans, playing in europe isn't gonna happen next year then.

I think Puel will leave, as will , Makoun, Bodmer, Odemwingie and Kader Keita, if by the start of next season 2 of those players are still at the metropole I will be happy.

Anyways back to the Marseille boys :)
