Hadji especially, he got beaten by pace easily by Cana, but Marsielle should have gotten a penalty earlier anyway

Marseille wins. Rennes played and never stayed in defense (like all the teams playing Marseille), it's always an european challenge for these teams.
It's a good start. Last year : 2 pts in 5 matches and 20th

It's normal. He always miss the thing. He only scores when 2 defenders runs after him. When he choose where to shoot, he never change (no plan B).roti said:

I was at the ROH show so missed the game on Setanta.
great result. saw the Niang miss!! that was awful, he has missed a few chances in the last two league games. When Djib gets fit he will show niang how to get it done.

If you think the miss by Niang was bad, then the positioning of Simon Pouplin in that same situation was 'AWFUL'! :nono:
Unbelieveable.. where he was standing! :shock:
He'll be sooooooooo glad that didn't go in!! :p
He can still become a good keeper one day and maybe even represent France (he's very young and has good potential) but it's obvious from some of the positioning mistakes and other things he does that he's still not experienced enough to be an automatic first choice starter for a club with ambitions of European football like Rennes without competition!
I hope Rennes can get Revault who has lost his place to Douchez at Toulouse but is an experienced and very good keeper so he can teach Pouplin a thing or two and provide competition.
Anyways Rennes off to a bad start similar to last season but they'll bounce back. Their performances haven't been worthy of 3 points (Deserved to lose to OM AND Lille!) but they haven't played BADLY either.
They just need to turn it up a notch and let's not forget, they have a lot of injuries still.

For $2M they're willing to lose their #1 keeper and one who is still young and could have a very good future! They're a selling club no doubt but you'd expect them to not agree to a fee like that and hold on to him until a better offer comes along!
