And I think Montpellier play an already relegated Auxerre in the last match, needing only a draw to win the title. PSG on the other hand have to hope for Auxerre beating Montpellier, and they also need to beat Lorient away. I think the title will rest on the shores of the River Lez, not the Seine.

More interesting is relegation, Auxerre has gone, but it's two from eight

Yeah very interesting stuff!!

I hope Montpellier wins the title and you're right, they look in great shape to do so now!

You'd think Valenciennes is safe at 40 points with all those teams needing wins below them, but you never know...

Lorient will fight for their life while Auxerre is already relegated like you said. Montpellier have one hand on the championship already and what a fantastic achievement that will be!!!

Lorient V Paris SG
Lyons v Nice
Std Rennais v Dijons
Sochaux v Marseilles
Toulouse v Ajaccio
Valenciennes v Caen

So Valenciennes, if they lose, will probably save Caen, and have to hope Brest and Ajaccio don't win, otherwise Valenciennes can still be caught by other teams drawing games.

It would be fantastic if Montpellier would win it. They deserve it IMO.
I hope Valenciennes and Sochaux can stay up.

this season all the teams I supported -or at least I wanted them to have the title, considering the remaining competitors- won ..

England, I don't like both Manchester sides, but I prefered City ..
Italy, I don't like both but I prefered Juve
France, I like Montpellier ..
Germany, I prefered BVB even if they mean nothing to me

Over the moon that Montpellier won it, this is a huge surprise. Nobody would have predicted that at the beginning of the season. I hope they can keep their team together.
Eden Hazard ended his carreer with Lille in style...best player in Ligue Un by a mile (but watch out for Belhanda). And what a last season he had: 20 goals and 15 assists, i think only Messi did better in Europe...

Yeah perfect way to end your association with the club he loves, LOSC with a hat-trick!

Belhanda is already pretty amazing and with Hazard gone, will probably look to win Ligue 1 player of the Year next year.

Nene had an amazing season as expected as well. Lorient lose in final day but lucky to escape relegation while Ajaccio send Caen down thanks to BIG win away from home in Toulouse!

Great season for Olivier Giroux now let's how him, Blanc and co do in Euros.

I personally think they will do very well as Blanc >>>> Domenech and this team is better and more united than World Cup team with new fresh quality players like Debuchy and Giroux at their peak as opposed to older more troubled players like Govou, co.
