Hmmm... dont know - nothing jumps out and grabs me really to be honest.

If they'd got:-

"AC/DC - Back In Black"
"Led Zep - Kashmir"
"Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing"

etc then it would have been tempting. At the moment, i think RB2 has the edge.

"Spin The Black Circle" by Pearl Jam is a goodun tho...

I keep thinking GH is just about the guitar, but as GH4 is basically RB, I may just have reconsidered... DOH!

If that track list is the truth, though, it means the guitar battles are still in. They just annoyed me in GH3.

What about GH:WT instruments? Are they superior to the Rock Band 2 ones?

(I'm objective in this 'battle'. I just want to figure out which instrument set I need to buy)

I prefer the RB guitar at the moment - im not keen on the touch pad on the GH guitar.

But i think the GH drums look awesome and pressure sensitive!

Neversoft, developer of Guitar Hero World Tour, still has another instrument peripheral to unveil.

The equipment will be specifically tailored for the Studio mode where music and perhaps dreams are made, according to G4.

However, Neversoft's Brian Bright stopped short of confirming what the mysterious instrument will be. Speculation seems most intense around a keyboard or turntable peripheral; Activision has trademarked DJ Hero and Keyboard Hero in the past.

Still, rather late in the day to talk about additional pieces of equipment given the late 2008 release date. Unless, of course, the peripheral was never supposed to be part of the instrument and game bundle box. No sign of anything on retail sites so far, either.

I'm warming to GH4 :)

Just watched a vid on GameTrailers of the devs playing 'Everlong' and the drums look brilliant, but for me, the Guitar stole the show. Looked cool and I love the slide part on the body - from watching the vid, it looks like that now takes the place of holding the long notes.

During the long notes, he slid up the neck during the 'waaaaaaaaaaah' part of the song, which fitted it really well.

Thinking of selling RB (for now) - any idea when the PS3 version of GH is out, as I only saw 360 listed on Game.co.uk?

Edit: Nevermind, found it :)) The drums do look pretty good, as does the guitar. I'm not sure how reliable the "cymbals" are though, I have a feeling they might be as reliable as the RB1 pedal.

Dunno, Everlong is basically all cymbal (as you see in the vid) and doesnt look like he missed many notes.

Looked a little flimsy, but at the same time, I guess it is trying to replicate the bounce from a real cymbal.

I'm probably going to sell my RB bundle and buy RB1 and 2 solus, then buy the GH:WT kit I reckon.

The ghwt setlist is not as good as the rb2 setlist in my opinion. Only a few songs that really jump out at me and most of them are already in rb so i cant justify paying full price for it really.

its amazing mate, Its like ...and justice for all and master of puppets, seen them at Leeds festival and they were awesome, not as good as Rge tho lol

Ahhh thats great news, I may stick my PS3 Guitar Hero on eBay and just buy World Tour when its released here.

So really, I could just buy RB2 Solus, GH:WT and use all of my songs from RB1 as well as they are on my PS3 HD?
