Re: Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)
Gave this a go yesterday, typical GT......whether you like it or not is another matter.
Have to say though, this pisses on forza's graphics from a great height.

You go down your high street bouncing off barriers and other cars, see how far you get...
its great fun!
, and I misjudged a bend, however the way the car "span" felt totally wrong. You know when you see cars losing grip and they go from one side to another quickly after each other and either spin or get control back? Usually a rear wheel drive after a bend with the back flipping out, you correct it but too much and it flips out the other way again. Well that happend to me, but with a front wheeldrive and with the front flipping from one side to the next. Now Im not a racing driver, have driven real life for about 8 years, but I'm pretty sure that that cant happen, the weight/power of the engine wont allow it for such a car (c4) with the balance all wrong in the physics model. Try it in forza and the more likely/realistic will happen, ie the car just continues along its original, oversteer, path off the track. It felt like they had used the physics model for a rear wheel mid engine race car and just mirrored it. And bouncing off the side of the track in london should also be a hint that the physics arent up to scratch in this generation of consoles.
