FIFA 23 Discussion Thread (PC Version)

AFAIK latest FET is still in beta (Patreon only) and it also doesn't have the latest SDK (which means some of the GP can't be modded). Just wait for it to release.

To be honest, its been such a long time I've decided to just stick with FMT and quietly mod on my own again, likely for the year now. As an FYI, FMT will support *.fifamods.

for me paul you are doing a great job by yourself and helping fifa gamers like us for a better game, does the latest version of ftm work normally without bugs? I'm playing your gameplay 0.6 and I'm also waiting for a camera mod to complete the gaming that's dying
 
A french youtuber found a bug with tall players. In this case Kyle Hudlin (206 cm) who appears to be tall in player's info. But in player's body and in match he's 152 cm

Kinda feel like this is a somewhat strange take but hey-ho :) The scores don't make the game more realistic, the fact it's harder to score is more realistic, for me at least. Game being easy = unrealistic, game being hard = more realistic, for me at least :)

Tangible progress tonight guys with the gameplay files. My only goal currently is to improve the off the ball side of the game and to shift some power back to defender. I'll check back when it's in a better state, but this is the first proper sign of progress for me!

Good to have you back. I always liked your Vision of FIFA gameplay. I often play from time to time some „older“ FIFAs. Like 18, 19 or 20. I have still your „nightly s“ from your google drive and play with them. Just last week the „Foul Edition“ from FIFA 19. To have the possibility as a enduser to choose from different sources mods was always the greatest for me. So I think it’s cool to have FMT and FET as well.

The mod @hatesince97 uploaded the other day plus tweaked sliders based on Matt's.

Definitely not what I've experienced so far, the teams that came down from the EPL such as Brentford and Leeds with their very good players gave me a bit of a battering, just lost 3-2 to Leeds, two of their goals annoyingly were penalties conceded by each of my fullbacks! Took the lead in that game too :(
 
Anyone come across this problem had to download ea app to load the game origin made me lol now the game wont load what so ever ea anti cheat loads then kicks me back to ea app game don't even load tried a repair full fresh install worked fine on origin
 
They have to do something about the difficulty levels, even Legendary is too easy to play. The CPU is not aggressive enough in the fight for the ball.

It's been going on for years in Fifa, certain regions allow or don't allow certain sponsors, think France also block certain sponsors.
 
Bit strange they care about virtual gambling sponsors in a game with real gambling. You don't want kids getting any strange ideas by looking at some logos while they buy packs for a chance to get Mbappe! A bit like a policeman storming into a casino shouting "alright people, I better not find any gambling ads in 'ere!". EA must be laughing their ass off, they don't have to advertise their real competitors.

What happens in these countries when the tv broadcasts games with these teams? I imagine, nothing, can't censor the kits.

Well TV age restrictions are probably different from video game restrictions but if it were me then no gambling company sponsorship would be allowed at all in sport, no stadium names, no club sponsors, no shirt sponsors and then in Fifa it'd be a moot point.

Does anyone have a copy of the old Origin installer.
I updated my processor and GFX card recently so wiped my system and thought I would try the EA App.
However the EA App doesn't let me install any games, so I am screwed.

So can someone out there somehow help me with the proper Origin file.

EDIT - FOUND A GENUINE ONE ELSEWHERE
Games are installing as meant too.

when you install EA App, it will remove Origin but after that you can install Origin again and could use both
