Hi mate
Yes, no patch yet but damned, this game is a pure drog!
I think I have made my best game on a Fifa Game!
Benfica Vs sporting Lisbonne - FUMA - Legend _ Normal speed - My sliders - 8 minutes
The CPU was so creative in this game, wow!

I have made some great games too!

Yes i personnally think it will be in the same time as the PSN update, on Thursday. Even if sometimes i gotted some patchs from Fifa on like Wednesday or Monday... Also on others games. But well, on the very last versions. Didn't get why or more "how they could with Sony/Microsoft barriers"
 
I just had one match, where I had 2 injuries, 2 yellow cards for AI, 0-0 till half time and then the flood gates finally opened.
I have to say - its pure joy on Full Manual. Very smooth and accurate. Dont remember last Fifa where I felt so much in control while playing on manual.

@Dino91 i tried everything, and there's no way to change feet/lbs to cm/kg on Console.
You need to ask for EA if you may change your version to European version.
If there's an extra thing to paid (as on US i think the cost is lower) and it's really bothering you, just said that you can add 10-15 dollars or i don't know how much for switching to the version you need. I'm on an US account, no change it's in metric for example, and i don't see any English US vs UK neither (don't think it will change something btw)
Personnally that's what i would do.
 
No patch today then :(

I’m so anxious that the update will speed everything up or add some BS for the FUT players.

And yes - Fifas usually did feel awkward on manual. F22 feels good, but I always wonder is it the game itself that changed something, or is it me finally getting used to it.

I think its the game pal. I hadn't played it much on 21 because it felt so weird. I've picked it up quite fast on 22.

* No matter how many times I tell myself you don't look like Pique, my subconscious is always visualizing that you do :)
 
had a good few intense days of work and sat down tonight to finish my trial on PS5, decided to fork out the money for it in the end. Apart from Career mode I have been using Liverpool in the prem for a good few games with the default formation and apart from the odd win have been doing quite poorly. I switched to a flat 4-4-2 tonight and the game absolutely transformed in front of my eyes. If it weren't for a last minute 2-2 equalizer from Leeds, I would have 5 wins in a row. Instead of feeling quite helpless most of the time and maybe having the odd free run up the wings with Salah and Mané, the midfield became much easier for me to navigate. For now I have a Tele Broadcast cam and Professional setting, and Matt10's sliders. Also I still have assisted shooting and don't think it's too bad, but am looking to switch to FUMA in the future.
Had some really great games tonight and can feel the game clicking. It helps to think of it as a completely different game than PES. The 10 hour trial wasn't enough to convince me but at hour 12 I am close to converted!
 
I can’t recommend highly enough to anyone wanting to make the game better or more enjoyable than playing manual. Once you get used to it, it’s night and day the enjoyment and experience. It feels so good to pick out actually passes and crosses.
I’m on slow, operation sports sliders, Manuel and it’s great.
if you can, force yourself through it and drop the difficulty, once you get used to it, I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Yes, you damned right. FUMA is the best way to appreciate the game. When you play the first matches, it's hard but the feeling is really great. You can do everything on the pitch and that's football!

It's not complicated, I was thinking I'll never master it. But after 10 games, you started to do some nice actions. Your first goal on FUMA is wowwwwww. Your first volley too🤩

i know very well, that there can be certain circumstances for players not allowing for any other control method but assisted!

i will never get it, especially in games! but hey, my mom prefers automatic gearing in her car.

i'll be here for you guys, like a father figure for all my fuma childs... (edit: why does that look like "fungus childs" to me and i have to think of The Last Of Us! :LOL: ) edit2: now i know, because we are infected! infected with the beauty of full manual gameplay!

yesterday i noticed spoony bringing a slider set video on this channel!
they are all jumping ships! :D
thing is, hes playing with all the flair stuff enabled and assisted jockey... i hence the other settings are on semi or assisted as well.


not my set of sliders... but hey, he's still in the early days of finding his set. lets see in the future.

i'll be relying on OS sliders sets as a base! dont wanted to link spoony to the sets yet. i want him to find his own way... maybe his personal testings are for the greater good, you know.

TTB is still playing the regular version and people in the chats asking him to use sliders... :)

Liverpool default is false 9 and is limited in attack, try 4-3-3 Holding its awesome for the quick counter
 
Sorry, maybe the set isn't even bad (not even watched it to be honest), but I find the "Pes 2021 gameplay" advertising absolutely hilarious. We haven't enough customization to raise up in game things like fouls, aggression or stamina, imagine pretending you are imitating the entire gameplay of another game just with your sliders.

Look, I haven't been obnoxiously advocating for FUMA in PES for years just to abandon in Fifa. For some reason my headers were not assisted so I tried manual shooting and it is promising so far. More low shots, although like PES, wrong foot accuracy is too good. I don't think manual shooting should abolish wrong foot accuracy, even though the shots are supposed to go the way you press. I think I would prefer if the game forced "right" foot shots for some players, even if they would look awkward.

Anyway, I am starting to put some teams firmly to rest and might have a go at a higher difficulty. Playing against Brentford or Norwich, if I get a guy up the wing, the defenders often lazily trudge backwards, leaving two attackers free in the box for an easy cutback or cross goals.

I know. It seems unfair to me now to have judged Matt’s slider without playing on FUMA.
I hit a top corner shot with Grealish that looped over the keeper but I really enjoy it when you put a passages of play together and play someone through. Satisfying.

Makes the whole match more organic.

Gonna move up to world class now after spanking Chelsea. Once I find my level, I think I’ll start a career in the lowest divisions. Want that old master league feeling back.
Trial ends soon though and will see how the patch is. Think I’m still going to wait for Xmas sales.

I found the weaker foot accuracy just as bad on assisted to be honest. Think it’s a Fifa thing or modern game thing at least.
Nothing less satisfying than pinging in a left footed snorter with a centre half
