I agree.
I don’t mean to cause offence here - but I really don’t see how OS sliders improve the game? They always seem to break the game and make it to too easy for me.
Sprint speed at 5 is very weird. No injuries with setting at 50. Just doesn’t feel right.
The guys over there work hard trying to ‘fix’ FIFA every year and big respect but they just end up breaking it. FIFA 22 only needs a very small tweak here and there.
Personnally it make me feel, weird. I also respect the work behind, the try, retry, again and again all the year.
Those guys doing, at least trying in a very smart way to make the game more realistic or logical.
For example yes, as the game was slowed down, on FIFA 16 it was easier, as i gotted all the time to choose what i wanted to do. And it's one version i handled well on every way to pass for example, from assisted to semi (my favorite) to manual.
On Fifa 15 the direction of their sliders was resulting on a harder game as the biggest issue was the vanilla game was too easy to score (i remember having tons of goal by games, i played online. But it was the one i was perhaps the stronger lol, with FIFA 14)
FIFA 19, was super weird, i could'n't continue (perhaps it's a Frosbite issue? I don't know)
So seriously, i got no idea about slider. I'm starting to like a bit the game more, vanilla, but i need to keep assistance in defense or it's a goal fest as overall defensive effectiveness has been toned down, even from FIFA 20 to me, but weirdly "contain" works better and "tackle" less.
At least from the way i play. That's important too, we don't all play the same way at Fifa. I like fast building style, and plays essentially on the middle. Sometimes i got to pass for crossing when a player is unmarked naturally, but i alway played axially on every game 4-3-1-2 style or if there's Laterals (depends on the team you choose) : i give consign to cuts inside.
