FIFA 20 Discussion (Console Versions)

EA Sports apparently have confirmed it as today at 3pm ish, but then again, that "source" might be best off as a bottle of Brown Sauce...
 
funny thing is you can not find that mentioned press release: must have been a mailing or something to the news outlets...

Eurogamer: FIFA 20 Has Finally Fixed Pace

EDIT: The event they talk about is the event I've mentioned before, where guys like the dude from Operation Sports were told that realism was the focus now, and they were given examples of how they've approached this.

My concern is that the beta update completely undid everything he's talking about.

So I'm not convinced. The demo should tell us more. He even says as much:
Time will tell if it bears out in the final build that we'll see in the FIFA 20 demo very soon - strength can have an almighty difference, for instance, and back in July EA was still taking on feedback from professional players, who might prefer the chaos of 19, for all I know - but it is genuinely promising. For once, I'm excited to give it a run out.

I really like PES 20,
but this will make it interesting, last few years i've been fifa, but last year PES and Fifa were both pretty bad
 
First impressions: I like this. But FIFA always seduces me at first with its gorgeous presentation and atmosphere etc.

Shooting still feels so good as does scoring a goal. There are so many possibilities in front of the goal.

It’s harder too. In legendary I’m struggling to break CPU down but that might be because this is new. Jadon Sancho is running rings around me!

I need another few matches with it but yeah, I’m enjoying it.

I said it before release a demo. On videos FIFA looks bad and like previous version but when you play it looks different. Much better.
 
i thought it'll be pes this year for good
nope, not now i've played this fifa demo, atmosphere and commentary play a huge part in how a game feels
 
I absolutely suck at this! I can’t score and the CPU keeps beating me.

Hopefully a sign of things to come! Might have to download it on the Jet Engine though, I don’t like playing football games with the Xbox controller at all it feels weird!
 
Still can't see the oppositons line-up.

Even before you've started a game though the presentation leaves the opposition behind.
